At least some of them wore helmets! Hundreds of nude cyclists ride around the streets of Bristol for World Naked Bike Ride - but critics demand an end to the controversial event






The event is billed as a celebration of bicycles and bodies, highlighting the vulnerability of cyclists on our crowded roads in a demonstration against car culture and oil dependency. The cyclists set off from the Full Moon and Attic Bar at 12.30pm, from where they headed down the A38 towards Cabot Circus. They ended their tour at the harbour opposite the SS Great Britain, before returning back to the pub they started at. Not everyone is happy about the nude cyclists riding through Bristol today - many have criticised the event on social media, asking to 'make it stop' or calling it 'disgusting'. Another commented on police helping to keep the naked bike ride safe, saying 'Bristol is broken'.

    There would be far fewer complaints about Just Stop Oil if they adopted this dress code on all their protests.

    so your just trying to stir up stuff between me and my girlfriend then I dont know how you found out about that argument but its done, now I have to wear a bike helmet everytime I cycle we already had the argument its already over nice try @HAYSIE we are npot going back to the argument.

    Is this your first ever girlfriend, you seem to squeeze her into every post you make?

    Notice how the people who push the nudist agenda all have bodies you don't really want to see naked ?

    No, I'm not body shaming. As a fat 59 year old I can say that.
