This leak (near me) has been going on since early Saturday morning when it was first reported to Essex & Suffolk Water. Two days later it's still pumping out water 24 hours a day/night. The ironic thing is the person who lives opposite the leak works for Thames Water but he can't go and fix it.

The leak is still leaking...how many more litres before they decide to fix it ?

Five days in and it's still pumping out 24/7 and nothing has been done or any signs of workmen attending the scene.

You would think that they would regard it as urgent.

This was the original post/report to Essex & Suffolk.

Burst pipe in Orchard Road/ Oaklands Drive I have reported this to Essex & Suffolk and they will be sending someone out today for it!!

It’s a very large flow so please be careful when walking down this road as it is very slippery.

UPDATE: They have been out and the leak is coming from the start of Oaklands Drive and is running down a BT line and exiting out of this area, they will return Monday to possibly dig up the area and repair the issue.

That was the last update of the issue and still it pumps out 24/7. I'm surprised that it hasn't affected the BT infrastructure by now after 5 days.

What a way to run a business, they can come out to leave a notice but can't fix the problem whilst there.

Shocking , i'm pretty sure that would have been fixed even by a badly run council up here by now
