not sure this is far from the truth, we paid £70 for an Uber after being at a recent concert in twickenham, we were desperate as 3 full buses had passed us and it was into the second hour of waiting, the journey would have cost about £15/20 at home

Not sure exactly how it all works but I think it is all down to demand and what they feel they can charge all the other Uber cars showing when we looked were even more expensive and an Exec car was over £100! (this was just a small Kia, would have got 4 in at most, or 2 x @MISTY4ME )

I think they have only just got as far as Swansea, I got a 50% off first booking voucher last week.
