Just want to pick up on 2 points made in the above article. I know I've said the first before. But I think it is worth repeating.
1. "They are usually quite passionate about having an absent MP." There are 650 MPs. It used to be the case that information was freely available in relation to how often your MP, any MP, turned up for work. That all changed during this term of the Conservative Govt. Where they voted to remove all previous info, and not to make public current info. So we have the ridiculous situation where we are not allowed to know which Labour/LibDem/SNP MPs etc are, or are not, turning up for work. Similarly, we are not allowed to know this info about Tory MPs. With the 2 exceptions of Boris & Dorries. Madness.
2. "Mr Sunak said he had inherited “the worst-possible in-tray for a new job that anyone could imagine”." He does remember that most of the chaos is financial, right? And does remember he was the Chancellor during the worst period? And that a lot of his in-tray was provided by him?
Perhaps certain Multi-Millionaires don't understand the pressures on others starting new jobs. Where their families might starve. I can "imagine" a lot more pressures than this self-entitled nob is capable of imagining.
