multi-tabling on a mac

Had a non-mac laptop prior and I didn't use the sky software, just loaded tables from the site and didn't have this issue. But now when I'm multi-tabling I have to double click on a table to perform the actions - same is true even with single tabling if i have another tab open.
Anyone any ideas how to fix it?
