Morning.

The big news from across the water in the WSOP Main was @FeelGroggy busting out in a monster pot. Typically, & modestly as always, with no excuses, he posted on the Forum;

"Came 92nd for $78,900. Looks like poker news missed my bust hand. Was Queens Vs Ace King for 16.5 million chips. Won plenty of flips to survive that long though! Appreciate all the messages of support I got and the support on here!"

Absolute top top bloke.

Back to regular business now, & playing just their 3rd MTT since April, @waspy77 took the Main. Mostly plays cash, not much MTT volume, but profitable. Previous successes include Hitman Main, Turbo & Mega. Runner-up was @bakersdoze which was his 2nd best result this year, beaten only by 1st place in a Sunday night £5k BH last month. @Richrash93 was 3rd, less than 24 hours after taking down Tuesday's MidEx.

The Mini was taken down by @snoxx11 who can boast a CV that includes 2 Summit wins.

Since mid June @WOW1tsANDY has won Sheriff, Turbo, Rebuy BH (twice), & added 9 @ 9 last night. Had some huge results here a decade or more ago, including one over £8,000.

@K_1rving had not played an MTT here since March but showed up last night & went home with over £500 for 1st place in Quickdraw.

Rather pleasingly for those who like appropriate aliases, 7 @ 7 went to @ronny707.

The £1K went to @Mattstyles and as far as I can tell that's his maiden headline win.

As I'm sure you can tell, writer's block has struck this morning, perhaps occasioned by staying up half the night watching WSOP with fingers crossed for Groggs. Normal service will be resumed soon, I hope.
