Except of course that a spread market is fluid and therefore you can mitigate potential losses or lock in a profit by closing your position. Similar to trading in and out on an exchange. Not sure if Asian Handicaps or any handicap bet can be traded in running.
Comments
In Asian Handicaps, a "-" denotes the favourite, & "+" denotes the underdog.
With an Asian Handicap, one team (usually) has a "virtual" start which is a fraction (0.25, 0.5, 0.75 etc) of one goal.
In effect, with Asian Handicaps, there are only TWO outcomes to a football match - win or lose. It's a bit like Spread Betting in many ways.
Here's a brief explanation of Asian Handicaps.
