Last night was a very specific issue that has arisen previously - but very rarely - & may possibly arise again if a very specific set of circumstances arise.
At the EXACT same time (to the second) that @Tsaaaar "won" the satellite another player registered. If either action has been 1 second sooner or 1 second later everything's cool. Anyway, the software defaulted to "CANCEL" when it happened.
It does flag up in the back-end though, so ordinarily a manual credit would have been issued this morning, except on this occasion I logged it as an issue before the office had done their regular checks.
I've also had a bit of a training session this morning so I can identify what's what if & when it happens again. Old dogs & new tricks, who'd have thought?
Good news - I think - in that the mysteriously missing satellite has been found.
Unfortunately, I don't know exactly WHAT went wrong, but for technical reasons it got voided/cancelled.
So you were short-changed your £24 seat into the Summit Semi Final.
By way of squaring things up, if you fancy playing tonight or tomorrow's £33 Main Event, (or £33 worth of smaller denom comps) we could get you registered as a freebie by way of apology & compo.
Good stuff,tonight’s main would be great! I hope the player who reg’d last has been banned for causing all this?
