I just started watching this. One hand really baffled me. At around 55 mins. The guy on the button raises to 2 bigs with K9s. The early chip leader in the BB calls with K10o. The guy in the BB bets 3 bigs on the flop, and the other guy calls, having flopped a 9. The third spade arrives on the turn, and there is an Ace on the flop. The K10 guy bets 5.5 bigs on the turn with nothing, and the other guy calls. The pot is now 22.2 bigs. The river is a 3h. Now despite the fact that the K9 guy showed that he wasnt afraid of the Ace or the 3 spades on the board, by calling the big turn bet, which only left him with 8.3 bigs, the K10 guy shoves on the river, with nothing. He was always getting called. Shouldnt he have given it up after his turn bet got called, saved himself 8.3 bigs, and just hoped for the fourth spade on the river, which would have given him the nut flush, or a 10 that would have put him in front, but on a particularly dodgy board?
i find those games with all the cards visable, really interesting........i would love to watch someone like isildur for a whole tourney....i bet it would be proper educational haha.

I'm slightly uneasy about seeing all the cards, remember the UB scandal?
yeah, thats a fair concern, I suppose, if they can see all the hole cards in real time, opens the door to all sorts of nasty ideas..........
the hand histories will be recorded on their system with or without those typa videos, so technically that could be put together after the fact with some fancy video code......i had never really thought about it that way, it is a good point to raise, maybe I will try and find out how it is recorded/made. fwiw I trust stars 100% when it comes to security stuff.

They probably have a means of recording it, but giving nobody access until it is all over.

But BB is a losing player fwiw, and I'm no theory buff but I don't think leading that flop is a thing either.
