So as many of you have probably heard Ben Shapiro a well known right wing republican media pundit in the states who is 39 was very unhappy about the Barby girl film which he says is aimed at 8 year old girls and my girlfriend thinks is aimed at 13 year old girls.
Suffice to say Ben Shapiro was so outraged at the movie that he resorted to burning his barby doll collection in protest. You just cannot write this stuff. In fact I got into the first four minutes of watching his weird youtube rant and nearly died with laughter when he said he had some notes and pulled out a notepad which looked like 200 pages of notes.
Now imagine that you are a 12 year old girl excited to see the new barbie doll movie your mother/father has taken you and their is a grumpy 40 year old man by himself sitting their mumbling in anger and vigorously making notes through out the film how do you even respond to this?
My girlfriend is curious on whether they were his dolls originally or if he bought the dolls for this protest or whether he took his children's dolls for this? I mean imagine been a young girl and having to tell your friends that you cant bring your barby dolls to play because your dad burned them because he didnt like the kids movie based on this?
The whole thing is utterly ridiculous and hilarious. anyway I will be watching the 43 minute video this guy made to comment on the movie with my girlfriend over dinner in a bit I expect to be crying with laughter at how ridic this is.
