Good morning Orfy folk, I hope everyone is well.
As yet another month begins, the weather cannot make its' mind up as to what it should do, but hopefully it will be better than last month. On a completely different matter, in the (football- there are so many different ones now) World Cup can anyone name a team that has won it's first group game 6-0 then failed to get out the group? Answers on a postcard please.
Anyway, we start another month of Orfordable League Poker tonight so we are all in with a chance of taking a prize. Fat chance you may say but I say, you never know when the Poker Gods will be smiling at you. so good luck to everyone who plays tonight. Here is the autoreg list

Good morning Orfy folk, Week 1 is a wrap. We had 31 starters that took the plunge last night, with 15 being Orfy regged, and of those, 5 made the FT.
Making his first FT since June Week 1, @bornablade took 9th place last night and is sitting in 5th overall, well played blade.
July Week 2 was the last time we saw @HENDRIK62 make the FT but he put that right last night by finishing in 8th place, which leaves him in 4th place overall, well played Neil.
Last night was @diamondlee's second FT in a row where he finished in 5th place, 5 places higher than last week, which means he is now 3rd overall, well played Lee.
No stranger to these reports, the most consistent Orfordabler this year, with overall League finishes of 2nd, 1st, 11th, 2nd, 2nd, 4th & 10th, has been @stokefc who, after his 4th place finish last night , is aiming for his fifth prize in eight months as he sits in 2nd overall. An awesome run of form by any stretch of the imagination, well played Sean.
The last time I made the FT was March Week 1, where I finished 1st, so making last night;s FT was a welcome change as I finished in 3rd place, leaving me sitting atop the League to male it a Stoke-on-Trent top two, well played me.
Thank you to everyone who played last night, I hope to see you all next week. Here is the League Table after August Week 1

Good morning Orfy folk, I hope everyone is well. Here we are, back again for another riproaring edition of the Orfy. The burning questions this week are; can Burnley stop Man City from running riot at Turf Moor tonight? Who will be the weekends' biggest winners (& will they surpass Barnsleys' win of last week)? will the Stoke lads monopoly at the top of the League be broken? And how on Earth is SidV79 sitting in top spot? The answers to all of these questions will be answered in due course, so we will just have to wait and see, although I have absolutely no idea how I got to the top of the League.
With that, I shall wish each and every one of you who plays tonight the very best of luck.

Good morning Orfy folk, Week 2 has passed so now let us take it and lay it to rest.
There were 25 starters last night, with 12 being Orfy regged and of those, there were 4 wno made the FT.
A first FT of the month for @THECHIMP who finished in 2nd place last night which moves him up the League by 6 places into 4th overall, well played Mr Chimp.
After makung his 2nd FT of the month, finishing in 8th place, @diamondlee retains his overall 3rd place with his score of 13, well played Lee.
As you all know I somehow took top spot last week by finishing in 3rd place, well, I made the FT again but could only muster a 9th place finish which, sadly, was not enough to stop me dropping to 2nd overall with a score of 12 (2 FTs in a row- unbelieveable).
Another FT went to @stokefc who, after spilling his beer all over himself and spending some time (whilst he got changed) away from the table, turned on the nitrous to speed past everyone and take the win last night, also usurping myself to take the overall League lead, with a score of 5, congratulations and very well played Sean.
Thank you to everyone who played last night, I hope to you all next week.
Week 2 is now laid to rest. Here is the updated League table after August Week 2

Good morning Orfy folk, I hope everyone is well and raring to go for tonight.
Week 3 (of 4) is upon us already so just this week and next to post a prizewinning score, thereby overhauling the two players at the top of the league. As it stands, the top two scores are 5 & 12 respectively, those are the targets so I shall wish each and every one who plays tonight the very best of luck, in your pursuit of a top two finish.

Good morning Orfy folk, this won't take long. Of the 33 players that started last night, 16 were Orfy regged but only 3 made it to the FT.
A first appearance of the month for @Asho28 was also his first FT of the month as he battled his way into 7th place last night, well played Ash.
A first FT of the month went to @goldnballz with a 5th place finish last night, which meant he climbed two places into 6th overall, well played Keith.
A second appearance for @HENDRIK62 also turned into his second FT of the month, repeating his feat of 8th place in Week 1, he climbed 6 places into 5th overall, well played Neil.
Although @THECHIMP bubbled the FT in 11th last night, that was enough, on countback, for him to leapfrog @diamondlee into 3rd place overall, well played Mr Chimp.
Thank you to everyone who played last night, I hope to see you all again next for this month's finale.

Good morning Orfy folk, I hope everyone is well. This is the final week of August so it is last chance saloon for anyone to sneak up on the top two, whose scores are 5 & 12 respectively, and grab a prize. Good luck to everyone who plays tonight. Here is the autoreg list

Good morning Orfy folk, the results are in, and it is a case of deja vu. Last week there were 33 starters of which 16 were Orfy regged, and of those (16) 5 made the FT, which is exactly the same as happened last night. The (p)lucky 5 were:
A first FT of the month, finishing in 5th place, saw @fredsgirl climb three places into 9th overall, with the added bonus of leapfrogging her significant other, @goldnballz, into the bargain, well played Paula.
Finishing one place higher in the League, @Boxster was also making his first FT of the month, taking 2nd place on the night, well played Boxy.
A second FT of the month, finishing in 7th place last night, helped @bornablade jump up into 6th place overall, which, incidently, is where he wishes his beloved Blades were in the EPL, well played blade.
Another making his second FT of the month, which is only his second appearance of the month, @Asho28 finished in 4th place, meaning he has finished as Runner-up in the League (knocking my good self down to 3rd in the process), well played Ash.
Making his third FT of the month, our League Leader, @stokefc consolidated his position at the top of the League with a 6th place finish so congratulations go to Sean on winning the League, well played Sean.
    Both @stokefc & @Asho28 will be automatically entered into next Friday's 9.30pm £11 BH.
Thank you to everyone who has played this month, I hope to see you all back again next month. Here is the final updated League table after August Week 4

Cheers Andy @SidV79 for your continued running of this, great banter as always last night. Got quite lucky in a certain hand vs you.

Hopefully Stokey and I can both get a decent return from the free entry next Friday.
