    SPT Manchester is September 22nd - 24th, so satellites will likely start around Monday 4th September at a guess.

    @Tikay10 @Sky__James

    Hi Tony and James

    Is there any chance the Sat's for SPT Manchester could start a bit earlier? Say at least a week?

    In the past I'm sure there used to be at least 4 weeks worth of Sat's. leading up to an SPT Tournament

    I know SKYPoker Promo's are GREAT, and pretty 'Set in Stone'...... i also know that things are tight financially everywhere, so it may not be possible, but SPT Manchester is always popular, so there shouldn't really be much overlay and by starting earlier, once players have WON a Seat, they can go on to booking a Hotel a bit earlier.

    By leaving just 18 days of Sat's, those of us who can't afford to buy in at £250 per entry, can only play the Tourney if they WIN a Seat, and will have to pay Premium last-minute prices at the Hotels. I have been tracking the prices of hotels close to the Casino for two months or so now, and they have gone up around £100 for 4 nights already, and will only get more expensive the closer to the Tourney it gets.

    I know it's a bit of a selfish request, but I'm sure quite a few of the SPT regulars are in a similar position to myself.

    Here's hoping

    GOOD LUCK everyone :)

    @MISTY4ME

    Well it's possible they WILL start sooner as I'm only guessing at the start date, but either way, I'll pass your comments on to James.

    Didn't realise you could do that without losing some of your money paid out ......tho' the hotels we stay in aren't usually on Booking.com ......but thanks for the advice @iceman904 :)

    I recommend treating SPTs as a mini break. The reality is only a handful of players will be winning enough on average to cover their expenses and to make minimum wage on top of that, so treat it as a fun weekend to meet up with Sky regs with potentially a decent cash at the end of it.

    You have a better memory than me wynne, I have no recollection of those at all.

    But the answer is no, there will not be "packages" on offer to SPT Manchester. The only packages they do are for Vegas.
