FAO Sky Rich and The Suits...

Hey guys,

Basically I'm wanting to get a seat in to the Glasgow SPT...but like I have said on other threads, it isn't getting any interest by other players at the moment with the Vegas satellites running...

Is it possible to get in to this by any other way? The Semi Finals aren't even running because of the amount of runners I don't think?

It's going to be a long long journey for me to Glasgow but I'm well up for getting involved and meeting up with the community from here so it would be good to hear something back.

Cheers.

I was wondering about that as well, the satellites barely get 5 runners!

    Hi there

I understand satellites haven't run for a few nightsnow

Let me have a word with the suits, see if we can drum up some interest for those of you wanting to play some semi's

If there is no interest still in a few weeks could you just buy in directly? Would be better if it is done sooner rather than later - may buy in directly if I have enough time to arrange everything but won't be if it is put up in the tournament section with a week or less to the event.

Too be honest, Im not really up for buying directly in....It may sound tight but my bankroll doesn't spread that big and it wouldn't feel right that some people can qualify for as little as £2..?

Im sure something will be sorted. Thanks SPT.

    Hi Ads

I only suggest buying in directly because everyone wants a full event at Glasgow, the satellites have had poor turn outs and in order to go to Glasgow it takes some planning for most therefore if Sky decide to fill the event the day before it starts as happened for Newcastle when seats became available - it would be hard for most to buy in and arrange travel etc. Obviously we all hope that people qualify through the satellites but imo there is no point even entering them because there is no value in them with hardly any runners.

    Hi there,

Just joined and starting to play. I would love to play in Glasgow, but like you guys the sats keep getting cancelled due to lack of interest.

I would be happy with direct buy in

    Nice one

I played the other night just 6 runners and because the other guy got great cards and took the others out I had no chance heads up, 5/6 runners for 1 seat are just a lottery.

I really want to play in the event though so interested to see

Looks like theres only 1 seat left so tonights semi will probably be the last.

There are 11 seats left, it says 119/130 on the tourney reg list

Think they have added 10 more!

I have qualified via the sat for £5.20 for tonights semi but with 1 hour to go I am the only player!

I will prob still go to the event and play the SNG's etc, been to Manchester as an observer and Newcastle as a player so its still a great event even if you don't play the main game, need to meet some mates too!!
