So I am transferring to a different site with the company I currently work for. they will want me to work most sundays, and this will involve finishing at 10pm or later. I see that the Sunday Major has late reg of 2 hours and 30 mins so if I win a free roll satalite to the the major, can I potentially request at the time that I be unregistered and re registered for close to the end of late reg? so that I can still play it but avoid been blinded out etc?

@Doubleme
In short, no.
Sorry.
but I think I would need at least a weeks notice for that.
You work anti-social hours on occasions. For pay. Your choice. Quite understand why you would do that.
But in order for you to be late reg'd for the Sunday Major, Tikay would have to work, unpaid, at 22:00 on a Sunday, or whenever you decided you were ready. To manually enter you into the competition.
Here's a thought. Don't enter the freeroll if you can't play the following Sunday. That's what I do. And I expect what most people do.
On your other thread, you refer to Tokens. That would be good. Other sites do that. But Sky currently has neither the technology or the budget to do that.
Because if it all gets to be too much hassle, Sky will just cancel the freeroll. Because, let's face facts-all the other sites have already cancelled this sort of freeroll.
So far non of the stuff there looks like it will affect me or in fact most likely the vast majority of the player base.
However every time you get updates they have done something more alarming if what we had currently was it fine, but the final product may be much worse and kill the site.
I am not saying it will I cant even give probabilities on that who could? but If I was in charge of making the decisions for the best interest of the business I would not be able to justify making a significant investment with such uncertain future.
What do you suggest I do just not work and pitch a tent on the beach?
maybe you think I should just go full time professional poker player many would say I wouldnt be able to i think I could support myself from full time poker. The issue is not the risk of losing my money and going broke its just if I fail to win enough I could end up depleting funds and been in trouble.
I do have enough savings to cover me for several months but I do not think thats enough, I think I need at least enough money to support me for an entire year, before I make that move. Which would be about £24000 I do not have that in savings right now quitting work to go full time poker pro would be reckless at this point in time.
b) I've been critical about a job at an accounts place?
I was going to hide that fact and come up to the SPT wearing a family guy shirt of stewie saying wheres my money and tell people I worked in collections just to be funny, but in reality it was people writing to the email box I handled saying "***** wheres my money"
one of them actually put it like that to.
anyway that job did not work out because they told me it was hybride and then cancelled the opportunity for hybride on me I was commuting 2 hours each way monday to friday and spending too much on transport so it was unviable. Its a shame people employ people on false pretences.
