Morning.

There was a chunky miss in the £6k BH on only the 2nd week since it's Guarantee was upped from £5,000, but that apart, traffic was fine. With an hour of late reg left, it looked like the Major would miss by a very long way, but in fact it got over the line with a bit to spare, thanks to a bunch of late reggers & rebuys. The SPT Semi never ran, though not so much due to lack of interest, it seems many players are just playing them for cash, as more than enough qualified but then de-regged.

@ChipDiddy0 won the Major. He does not play many MTT's here - just 14 since mid-May - but when he does he has a great strike rate. In those 14 MTT's he has won a Sheriff, & been 1st, 2nd & 7th in Sunday Majors. The rest of the FT did not present any surprises, they all have good track records, 2nd to 5th were @whitters95 @wineli @PRhack93 & @stack_u. In 6th was @OBO1234 who has been very low volume indeed in his 13 years here, & in fact was playing his first MTT since May & just his third this year.

The Mini-Major went to the unbelievably youthful looking @Super_Oli with @LittleGJ 2nd. 6th was @mysteryreg who has been suffering from 2nd-itis in the last week, having been runner-up three times - Mini, Mega & MidEx.

Many congrats to @NOSTRI who has played just shy of 13,000 MTT's here & had his biggest ever win last night, scooping £1,155 for winning the £5k BH. That narrowly beat his previous best which was for winning a Mini Avenger back in February 2021. And the good news is he now has no excuse for not attending the upcoming SPT Manchester. He had to beat @benc heads up - no mean feat - & the in-form @claudel9 was a fine 5th.

There was an extraordinary start to the evening, with the first three featured MTT's - £1k BH, 7 @ 7 & £1k Rebuy BH - all going to the same player, @AlexaAJ. Fairly certain that has never happened previously. If we ignore the rebuys & addons in the Rebuy, there were 245 runners, 125 runners & 125 runners respectively, so the odds of winning all three were quite high.

Barely a day passes at the moment in which @T_Bundy does not get a mention, & he was at it again last night, 1st in Quickdraw & 2nd in the £1k BH.

@bossquaid has done wonderfully well this year but ran into some heavy weather a few weeks ago, so he'll be delighted to have won last night's Mega & got himself back on course.

@kroket gets a rare mention after winning Reload, the last mention I can find for him was after winning a Rewards Freeroll back in June.

On Saturday @king1loui3 was 2nd in the 9 & 9 & rather pleasingly he went one better last night.

Sheriff was a super tough FT, with @Steed432 riding to victory ahead of a bunch of Team Big Boy members - @WOW1tsANDY @roddy28 @loololollo @ChipDiddy0 & @peiratis88. Some FT that.

That's it for today.
