    This drama takes viewers into the housing estates of East London.     For years I resisted these sort of things, then my bestie somehow persuaded me to watch Breaking Bad. Loved it. So then I had to watch Better Call Saul, & I enjoyed that so much I watched the whole thing twice. Then Sopranos.

    I'm sort of between Series at the moment, so I'll give it a try. I watch football or sport every night until around 10pm, then I have 3 hours of "entertainment", followed by an hour on You Tube Music.

    There was an Irish series called Love/Hate starring Aidan Gillen that was similar to Top Boy, that was very good as well.

    Its definitely worth a watch.

    I watched the first 5 Episodes of Season 1 last night.

    Had to turn on the sub-titles though as I could not hear or understand the dialogue very well.

    Good acting & quality production but I need to watch a few more Episodes before I decide. I'm not hooked yet, but I'm interested. Have to say, the main characters are believable, compelling & well acted.

    Bit confused though, when I searched for it on NetFlix, there was also another version, "Top Boy Summerhouses" or somesuch. Is that something different?

    The summerhouse is the first 2 series.
    So you need to watch them first.
    There are 5 series in total.
    It gets better as it goes on.
