A very good Monday morning to you.

Numbers were OK, with the Major making £12,700, compared with £12,000 the same day last year which included £600 of overlay. There's excellent televised football most nights this week, so be interesting to see how it affects poker traffic.

Bit of an eye-opening result in the Major, where despite the presence of heavy-hitters @Natnug @whitters95 @Jscorgie @grinddd & @GFKIJKLL in 2nd to 6th respectively it was the little-known newbie @Gbo1314 who beat them all & secured the £3,556 for 1st place. Only been here 2 months, & was playing just his 100th MTT, most of which appear to be freerolls, as he mainly plays cash. Has an ABI of £2.39 & won his seat via Thursday's Sunday Major Freeroll. An extraordinary result by any standards. Gotta love the unpredictably of poker.

A far more predictable podium in the Mini, with a 1-2-3 of @roddy28 @NOSTRI & @StayOrGo. The nearest we got to a FTJ was @StayOrGo who was 3rd in the Mini & 19th in the Major. @NOSTRI seems to be confirming his recent improvement, 2nd here, with some great results in September including 1st in the £6k BH. @roddy28? You know all about him, confirmed beast.

In a way, the £6k BH echoed the Major, once again a high class FT but 1st spot going to the relatively unheralded @strangey19. Been here 14 years without making too many waves, has an ABI of £3.29, last 8 MTT's have been a mix of £2, £3, £5 & Freerolls, & yet suddenly pulls up £33 & single tables his way to 1st place in a £6k g'tee affair. The previous night he 1-tabled a £2 MTT, the night before that he 1-tabled the Rewards Freeroll.

Normal service was however resumed wins in Sheriff (@loololllol), 9 @ 9 (@Froozle) & MidEx (@goldnballz).

The first win double of the month went to @RobRenzi won firstly won the £1k BH then followed up by taking Reload.

The £1k Turbo made a surprising prize pool of £1,740, with @PAPABURG clocking up his 2nd Turbo victory inside the last 7 days.

Quickdraw went to @lukeshaha who playing just his 7th MTT in 6 months.

One of the most upbeat aliases here is @MrDooWop & just seeing that name brings a smile, so I'm pleased to report he seems to be in good form, 5th in Mega on Saturday & 1st last night.

@Babybear25 only ever plays the £1k Rebuy BH but has taken over 2 months to play the last 8 of them, seems to work out OK though as he won it last night.

The Elim Freerolls continue to be very popular with the players, 250 runners last night with @bettingben topping the field.

That's it for today.
