Morning.

More European football on TV last night, despite which MTT numbers were OK. Rather oddly though, both Main & Mini, which tend to do OK on a Thursday, missed, albeit only be a handful of entries.

After the recent SPT I managed to sit down & have a chat with the runner-up, @Vertigo before he disappeared up to the bar to enjoin with the other degenerates amongst the Sky crew. Despite a fearsome table presence, wearing a vomit coloured hoodie, topped off by a mask, baseball cap & hoodie up, in real life away from the tables he was warm & engaging. Seems like he is very strict with bankroll management, but with £11,000 in his hand - his biggest cash ever - he told me he'd experiment with moving up the Sky Poker stakes, where he historically had stuck to smaller stuff. So on Wednesday, I wrote this;

"Our SPT Manchester champ @Vertigo seems to be upping his volume & stakes here now & claimed his third featured MTT win by taking MidEx, adding it to previous wins in Rebuy BH in August & 7 @ 7 in June. Also ran deep in last night's Main & was 7th in 7 @ 7."

Well it did not take long for him to take his 4th Featured MTT as he went & won last night's Main. He collected ~£980 for that, which is more than 3 times his biggest previous cash on Sky Poker. In fact he almost had a featured MTT double, as he was 2nd in Sheriff as well, having gained entry via a £3 sat, & ran 3rd in two different £400 BH's for good measure. In the Main I was following it late-evening & he was in poor shape, whereas in the Sheriff he was chippie. As it panned out, he came through the field to win in the Main, & failed to hold on in Sheriff. It's going to be interesting to see how he approaches & fares in the upcoming UKOPS. I can't see him buying in direct to many of the £110 or £220 affairs, but I expect he'll go the satellite route. Watch out guys, he's a proper pain to share tables with.

In the Mini, @Sizzlingbo scored his first ever Featured MTT victory from a relatively tough FT, with @Tsaaaar 3rd, @benc 4th & @LePonch , who won Tuesday's Mini, in 6th.

After doing very well in the first half of September, @WOW1tsANDY disappeared until returning in style last night by winning Sheriff, & running deep in the Mini (11th) & 9 @ 9 (8th). Runner-up, as previously mentioned, was @Vertigo.

@Drewett can do no wrong at the moment, & won Quickdraw for the 2nd time in 48 hours. He also won that £11 entry £400 BH that runs at 21.30. He won Tuesday's MidEx too, & was 2nd in Wednesday's Mega.

@BWFCx who has been here just over a year but only played 13 MTT's (ABI a whopping £56) secured his maiden win & thread debut by taking Turbo.

Perseverance is all, so well done to 1-tabler @annette who has played MidEx the last 3 nights, finishing 18tth, 5th, & last night, 1st.

The improved recent form of @NOSTRI continued as he took 7 @ 7. In addition, he was 6th in a £300 Rebuy, 12th in the £1k Rebuy, & 9th in Reload, although I suspect he gave that Rebuy button a good thrashing.

The Reload winner was @TWODASH who has a few decent scores in the weekly FTT.

Having been 2nd in the £1k BH two nights ago, @swearword won the Rebuy version last night.

That's it for today, & the weekend starts here. Enjoy.
