UKOPS Finishing Times

StayOrGoStayOrGo Member Posts: 12,169
Hi @Tikay10 or anyone that knows.

Do we know roughly what time the main UKOPS Events will finish (perhaps use last year as an example)

Mainly interested in the main events and the High Rollers.

Using the two MTT's on the first day as an example?

UKOPS-02 £220 H/R BOUNTY HUNTER: Starts 7.30pm
UKOPS-03 £110 BOUNTY HUNTER: Starts 8.00pm

I won't hold you to it, just a rough guess would be great.

Many thanks

i can remember from last time that the bigger events such as the ones you have listed used to end around 2am-3am. Don't know for certain but one time i was up until nearly half 2 watching someone i knew on an FT. not 100% sure though for this year though the blinds and stacks do look very similar to last times.

    Morning Graham @StayOrGo

I really have no idea to be honest.

If I had to guess, I'd not suggest any earlier than 2am, but that's a pure guess.

I'll ask around & see if anyone has a better line on it.

Well part of me did want to reply "depends when you bust out" but did not want it to come across wrong. ;)

You can have a rough guess on when the final table might be formed from the guarantee, starting stack and structure.

E.g event 3 has a guarantee equivalent to 150 runners with 10,000 starting stack:
    - 1.5m chips in plays
    - Assume the FT forms with an average of 25bb per player 6-handed (could be anywhere from 15bb-40bb though)
    - When the bb level reaches 10,000 chips, that's when the FT will form.
    - -if that's after 20 levels of 12 minutes each, the FT will form after 4 hours + three or four breaks.

Just to double check though do any ukops events run over two days or are they all finished in one day. If I am fortunate enough to find myself playing at 4am a day before work I have likely won a lot anyway and can force myself through a shift. If however say I ran deep down to the last x or whatever time it finishes for that day and then play recommences on the next day at 8pm or whatever that may be an issue because I may be working that day which would mean either I cant play or if I finish before 8 I can play but I am playing sub par due to exhausted from work and lack of sleep which would not be ideal.

    They're all one day only.
