Morning, on what is, here in the Midlands, a thoroughly dull, wet & miserable Friday morning, with a definite feel of winter.

Rather surprisingly, both Main & Mini missed guarantee last night, but only by 1 & 3 entries respectively, so no damage done.

The Main went to the curmudgeonly, argumentative & stubborn @HAYSIE. Many bad things have been written about him - I should know, I wrote most of them - but all things considered, it's amazing how well he actually does. When you've played over 40,000 MTT's with an ABI of almost £19 it's hard to make the graph move much, but in the last 2 months it's taking a significant upturn. Results since early August including 1st places in Sunday Major, Avenger Main & now Hitman. Not many of our resident hotshots can match that. He plays poker his own way, is super "sticky", has old fashioned raise sizes, & gets dog's abuse for it, but many of his critics would love his results. We know to take Sharky stats with a pinch of salt, especially the eccentric way they account for rebuys (Tony loves a rebuy) but based on their stats he's now just a few bob shy of £100,000 profit on Sky Poker. The real figure will be a lot less, yes yes, but the fella loves his poker & I don't ever see him abusing other players in the chat every time he loses a hand. Worth noting he's in his late 60's (though looks much older) & we have quite a few Seniors here who still get decent results from time to time - @HAYSIE @EBBERDON @wynne1938 @SoLack @Dollie @Essexphil & many many others. The beauty of poker is there are so many different ways to play, & it can never be a bad thing to swim against the tide & do things differently to others.

@jody12 won the Mini. Enjoys a Sharky rating of 89, & has some solid scores from just ~170 MTT's including the FT of Sunday Major (twice), & a £110 entry UKOPS FT.

@loololollo took Sheriff, the second time he's done so this month, plus he was 3rd in the Mini. Other wins this month include Turbo & Quickdraw, and 3rd in a £110 BWBH.

SPT Champ @Vertigo continues his rapid climb up the ranks, winning Reload for the 2nd time in 5 nights, & in the last 9 nights he's won a Main, a MidEx & two Reloads.

We don't see much of @Swog these days but when he cba to show up he does OK & won last night's Quickdraw. He had a hot spell last month when in the space of a week he won the £6k BH & ran 1st & 3rd in BWBH after which he went mostly AWOL.

MidEx went to @MikeyW94 who does seem to excel in the late night stuff, & in the last two weeks alone has won Quickdraw 3 times, Turbo & MidEx.

@richhazza took the £1k BH. Used to be something of a beast around 10 years ago & I well recall him winning a PRIMO Mini that was televised on the TV Channel, & he won plenty of big stuff between 2010 to 2014.

That's it, I'm done.
