So this is just stupid in the extreme sky bet are in trouble again sometimes in the past it has been debatable now the lynch mob is out and sky bet which would include sky poker could be closed down.

Why? because they used Gary Neville for advertising. who could appeal to young people under the age of 18.

So Gary Neville retired in 2011 if someone was 5 or 6 at the point when Gary Neville retired they would be near 18 now.
about 2% of Gary Nevilles followers on social media are under the age of 18. apparently this amounts to over 100,000 so it is a significant figure.

Surely that means any celebrity anywhere of any note then, I mean wouldn't a pornstar potentially have some under 18 followers?
I mention **** star because that would be an over the age of 18 audience.
I mean heck a poker celebrity likely has some under the age of 18 followers. So if Sky bet decided to use Patrick Antonious for their adds they could be in trouble too?

Could sky get into trouble for sponsoring Neil Channing? He may have a follower under the age of 18.

That's a little melodramatic. The complaint & ruling was by the ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) not the UKGC. There is no threat or implied threat of closure or even a fine.

I saw this story and thought it was a bit odd. It's difficult to see how anybody can now be used as a face for gambling sites. Does Neymar still have a deal with Pokerstars?
