Morning.

In line with the recent trend, MTT numbers were buoyant again when compared to the same night last year, with Avenger Main making £9,300 (£8,200) & BWBH £5,900 (£5,200).

@Reds69 won Avenger Main, his biggest score in his 18 months here. Previously he's won MidEx numerous times, plus a 7 @ 7, but this was easily his biggest score here. @Morris707 was 4th, & he ran 4th in the Mini too, so collects a £200 FTJ cash bonus.

Another personal best came in the Mini which was won by @hoult08. Arguably, this was a tougher FT than the Main, with @StayOrGo 2nd, @WOW1tsANDY 3rd, @Morris707 4th, (& so securing his £200 FTJ bonus) @elvisg1972 5th & @Froozle 6th. @elvisg1972 won 7 @ 7 incidentally.

@GSmith13 was certainly Mr Mean Machine last night, taking the £110 entry BWBH, & making it a win double by taking the Mega, & was 4th in Quickdraw later in the evening too. He won Quickdraw earlier this week too. Sharky suggest he's well over £200,000 in profit on Sky Poker. There was an outstanding effort in 4th by @K4 who was making a BWBH FT for the 2nd time. It was his 3rd best result lifetime, beaten only by finishing 3rd in the Major twice, once in 2020, once in 2022.

There were actually two other double winners last night. Lord @Natnug took 9 @ 9 & Quickdraw, while @funkybunch took Turbo & MidEx as well as running 4th in 9 @ 9.

@llcullj makes his thread debut thanks to 1st place in Reload.

No real surprises in the UKOPS High Roller Semi, with @podraic @chrisdonkb & @cabbaz booking their passage.

That's it for today. Football is back, with some great games including two cracking local derbies - Liverpool v Everton @ 12.30 & Chelsea v Arsenal @ 5.30. Then, at 8pm, England are playing their Rugby World Cup Semi Final, plus of course we have some great racing from Ascot. Sadly, coverage of Ascot will be spoiled by the constant eulogising of Frankie Dettori who (allegedly) is retiring from UK racing today. Just go Frankie, please, think we've all had our fill of your "farewell tour".
