Afternoon.

Some good football on TV but the eve-of UKOPS numbers were OK, with the Main coming in at £5,550, an 18% uplift on the same night last year. Tonight there's Palace v Spurs on TV, & UKOPS Day 1, so that'll be interesting.

@rancid took the Main. Think he's more of a cash player traditionally, & he's just coming up to 15 years since he joined Sky Poker. 2nd was @Reds69 who won Midex the previous night. @K0BAYASHl who we don't see on the Forum these days was 3rd.

@Ubbi4820 is a fairly infrequent visitor, but showed up last night & won the Mini, exactly 7 days since he last played, when he was a close up 7th in the Main. Has won several Mains & Minis down the years. The much-improved @mumsie was 3rd, his graph is heading nicely north, & he won the £1k Rebuy BH at the start of this month. 3rd was @steveysee who made several other assorted FT's later in the evening.

The new Sheriff in town is @tonyp142 who aside from winning that also ran 6th in the Main & 3rd in Reload. Big things are expected from him in UKOPS. 4th was @NChanning who I saw described on the Forum this morning as the "karate ambassador". I guess he's been called far worse.

@bisgas80 took Mega, adding it to previous victories in MidEx (twice), £1k BH & Quickdraw, though I suspect his best cash was 2nd in a £5k BH last year which earned him ~£650.

@thoughtfox was another recent MidEx winner (Sun/Mon) who was back in the winner's circle last night, 9 @ 9 this time.

Solid night for @T_Bundy who was 1st in Quickdraw & 3rd in Sheriff. You may recall he had a banging August - 1st in both a Major & an Avenger Main, 2nd & 3rd in BWBH & 2nd in Avenger Main all in the space of 3 weeks.

That'll have to do for today, as I've got a few UKOPS bits & bobs to sort.

GL if you get involved in UKOPS, but please remember it's a 10 day affair, so keep some powder dry.
