    It's not the Clubs ....... far better off spending the money on several lessons with your local Golf Pro

    Tikay did the same thing when he won his first tourney. He tells me he got a good deal from Old Tom Morris

    Ha, not wrong.

    As a matter of fact my current Irons are 25 years old. Can't blame my abysmal ball-striking on them, but my golf coach chap says I definitely would get some improvement from a set of "modern" irons which have better "technology" whatever that means.

    I thought a decent set of Irons would set me back about £150, so I was in for a rude awakening...
