Who won what, Monday 30th October, UKOPS Day 4. Wigglefish wins the Main, Jodz16 tops Leaderboard

Afternoon.

Well that's Day 4 in the bag & it all seems to be going rather well so far.

Guarantees last night were £26,000, with Prize Pools making £36,940.

The schedule & guarantees were identical to last year's Day 4. Last year they made £31,330, so that's an 18% y-o-y uplift.

The big movers were the opening £22 £5,000 Rebuy which made a startling £8,460, & the £10,000 Main which hit £14,300.

An interesting set of results too, with none of the 6 events going to what we might call "the usual suspects". ( @jordy16 won Event 26, but he only plays bigger stuff & UKOPS).

Here's the Top 10 of the UKOPS Leaderboard BEFORE last night's events;

1 @rspca12 23

2 @Tedson 22

3 @bigfatfish 21

3 @cabbaz 21

3 @Drewett 21

3 @GSmith13 21

3 @jordz16 21

8 @destinycod 20

8 @Hoff92 20

10 @chrisdonkb 19

The Leaderboard AFTER last night's events is at the foot of today's write-up.

    £22 entry UKOPS 21 £5,000 Rebuy B/Hunter (£8,460)

    I did a double take when I saw the prize pool here - £8,460 compared to £6,560 last year. Goodness me.

    @BIGBOB62 has only been here a month & played just under 100 games but seems to be making his mark already. On Day 1 he ran 2nd in UKOPS 07, & he went one better last night & took down UKOPS 21, collecting ~£1,530 which is very decent for a £22er on Sky Poker.

    2nd was @balamar, who warmed up for UKOPS by winning the Turbo last Thursday.

    @Shelley7 was 3rd, & as we shall later see, had a very good night indeed.

    @BIGBOB62 1048000 1 £1152.67 + £380.65 Head Prizes 4

    @balamar 0 2 £691.61 + £281.55 Head Prizes 10

    @Shelley7 0 3 £423 + £225.15 Head Prizes 10

    £110 entry UKOPS 22 £10,000 Single Re-Entry (£14,300)

    121 entries 22 rebuys

    Lovely win for @Wigglefish who mainly plays cash or DYM's. Been here over 10 years but has played very few MTT's - 386 - compared to 6,700 DYM's. Despite that, he had three FT's in last year's Autumn UKOPS which included 1st place in UKOPS 51 on the Friday. 1st place last night was worth £4,004, which is bigger than 1st place in the Major these days.

    And here's @Shelley7 again, having run 3rd in the opener, went one better here, collecting a very nice £2,310. That's their biggest cash in 15 years here after over 3,000 MTT's. Oddly, their 3 biggest cashes were all for 2nd place - last night, & twice 2nd in Avenger Main. Won a UKOPS in 2018 too.

    @Buttafngrs was playing their first MTT's here since 15th September, having run 2nd in BWBH a week earlier. Best ever score was 1st in a Boomlet BWBH in 2020 which had a £10k guarantee & was worth over £2,700 to the winner.

    @Wigglefish 1430000 1 £4004

    @Shelley7 0 2 £2316.60

    @Buttafngrs 0 3 £1329.90

    @WannedMan 0 4 £1043.90

    @tartu 0 5 £900.90

    @Firehaze 0 6 £757.90

    £11 entry UKOPS 23 £2,000 Mini Freezeout (£2,380)

    So our man @Vertigo could not quite close out that SPT last month but he got the job done properly here & in doing so won his first ever UKOPS event. There have never been such scenes in sleepy Shropshire. Been a good 2 months for him, 2nd in that SPT for £11,000 & won a Hitman Main earlier this month. By way of interest, below is his exit hand in that SPT - he's got the K-Q so was loving that flop, not so much the turn. Gotta love the way poker keeps us guessing, it's never easy is it? He looks a bitbadass with that Parka/hoodie/baseball cap combo, but he's really quite a sweetheart.

    2nd last night was @T-Bundy, who also made a FT on Day 2. Bit of a frustrating night for him last night, 2nd in this, 8th in the Main & 12th in the Rebuy.

    @Dozza was 4th, the same spot he finished in UKOPS 13 on Saturday.

    Back-to-back FT's for @Humphrey43 who was 5th here & 3rd in the UKOPS 24 which followed it.

    @Vertigo 714000 1 £630.70

    @T_Bundy 0 2 £368.90

    @MD_575 0 3 £210.63

    @Dozza 0 4 £161.84

    @Humphrey43 0 5 £138.04

    @silverbac2 0 6 £114.24

    £22 entry UKOPS 24 £3,000 Super Bounty Hunter (£4,280)

    166 entries 48 rebuys

    This was the "super" BH, "super" meaning 75% of the prize pool went to the bounties. As a result, 1st, 3rd, 4th & 5th earned more in Head Prizes than regular prize money.

    @duonross did best, & as he's not on Sharky I can't tell you too much about him, though he did pick up a small BH earlier this month when running 5th & 6th in Main & Mini.

    Playing only their 2nd UKOPS of the Series, @bnana was 2nd.

    @GSmith13 was 4th, after finishing 2nd in Friday's HR, & he's now eased into 3rd place in the Leaderboard.

    @Allan23 does not play many UKOPS as he's a bit strict with his bankroll, so 5th here was good to see, & @GREGSTER made his first FT of the Series from a small sample size.

    @duonross 642000 1 £291.57 + £372.23 Head Prizes 10

    @bnana 0 2 £174.94 + £130.37 Head Prizes 6

    @Humphrey43 0 3 £107 + £117.43 Head Prizes 8

    @GSmith13 0 4 £84 + £89.03 Head Prizes 5

    @Allan23 0 5 £71.69 + £115.75 Head Prizes 5

    @GREGSTER 0 6 £60.35 + £54.14 Head Prizes 4

    £55 entry UKOPS 25 £4,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£5,000)

    82 entries 18 rebuys

    @Badboy17 is more of a cash player than an MTT-er but he won a MidEx recently & then took this for a PB.

    Quite a line-up behind him including @bigfatfish (now 2nd in the Leaderboard), @mcg899 @MikeyW94 & @StayOrGo. @K4 probably had a PB in 4th.

    @Badboy17 500000 1 £712.50 + £429.76 Head Prizes 7

    @bigfatfish 0 2 £457.50 + £18.75 Head Prizes 1

    @mcg899 0 3 £285 + £216.80 Head Prizes 9

    @K4 0 4 £231.25 + £222.45 Head Prizes 8

    @MikeyW94 0 5 £188.75 + £139.74 Head Prizes 5

    @StayOrGo 0 6 £157.50 + £23.44 Head Prizes 1

    £22 entry UKOPS 26 £2,000 Hyper Bounty Hunter (£2,520)

    99 entries 27 rebuys

    @jordz16 scored his 2nd win on the Series, he also ran 2nd in Sunday's HR, & he now sits proudly atop the UKOPS Leaderboard. Sky Bet would probably make him about 100/30 to win it.

    In fact this may have been the evening's toughest FT with the likes of @Limp2Lose @Hod4k997 @Froozle & @loololollo all in FT contention.

    @jordz16 378000 1 £359.10 + £231.63 Head Prizes 11

    @Limp2Lose 0 2 £221.76 + £57.65 Head Prizes 4

    @Hod4k997 0 3 £137.34 + £58.81 Head Prizes 5

    @alandutch 0 4 £110.88 + £45.01 Head Prizes 5

    @Froozle 0 5 £92.61 + £77.82 Head Prizes 6

    @loololollo 0 6 £78.12 + £37.03 Head Prizes 4

    That's it for today, hope some of you found it mildly interesting.

    Today sees the halfway stage reached, & is also, I'm told Halloween.

    For those that are into Halloween, here's the biggest pumpkin you ever saw, which will be in action tonight at the absolutely breathtaking Sphere in Las Vegas. Everything is bigger in the USA, it just is.
