    £22 entry UKOPS 33 £1,500 PLO8 (£2,580)

    97 entries, 32 rebuys

    I watched most of this & it was was huge fun & played in great spirit, with all the regular PLO8 lads on the rail.

    When the dust settled, @rspca12 was left with all the chips. He's not a regular PLO8 player & would not claim to be an expert but won via sheer aggression &, of course, hitting boards.

    @safc71 - one of only two "regular" PLO8 lads on the FT, did remarkably well to run 2nd as at one point in the Final he was down to 5 BB. The only thing which spoilt his evening - apart from not winning - was Newcastle giving ManUre a good thrashing in their own back yard.

    @NChanning is a bit of a wily old dog in this format & was chippie for a long way. He eventually ran 3rd, & I note he was 7th in the same event last year as well as 3rd in the Main. At one point he hit a straight flush - & only got half the pot. Such is PLO8. I had a look at his THM & it shows $3,500,000 in live "winnings" from around 120 events, of which only two were Omaha, & both were high only, though one of them was a £$5,000 WSOP affair.

    @destinycod recovered very well from nearly last with 4 tables left to finish 4th.

    @Natnug lead for a while too but lost the chip lead after tangling with @NChanning.

    @Jab21, the other regular PLO8 player on the FT, who used to do very well in the nightly £200 guaranteed, was 6th.

    I never watch NLH poker, it bores me, but I thoroughly enjoyed railing this.

    @rspca12 516000 1 £735.30

    @safc71 0 2 £425.70

    @NChanning 0 3 £258

    @destinycod 0 4 £206.40

    @Natnug 0 5 £178.02

    @Jab21 0 6 £152.22

    £55 entry UKOPS 34 £10,000 Rebuy (£14,100)

    124 entries 80 rebuys 78 addons

    Some four weeks ago @Gutshotter pulled off a sensational double by winning both Avenger Main & BWBH on the same night. Well he did it again last night, this time winning the Main as well as the 9pm UKOPS. Two wins on a UKOPS night is @Tedson territory usually.

    I sense @Jscorgie has not been running too well during the Series so far, 3rd here was only his 2nd FT.

    @Badboy17 single-tabled his way to 4th, having won UKOPS 25 the previous night.

    Tuesday's UKOPS 30 winner @Panda8 was 5th.

    @Gutshotter 1080000 1 £3948

    @ra1d 0 2 £2284.20

    @Jscorgie 0 3 £1311.30

    @Badboy17 0 4 £1029.30

    @Panda8 0 5 £888.30

    @Bensons22 0 6 £747.30

    £11 entry UKOPS 35 £4,000 Mini Rebuy (£5,660)

    233 entries 199 rebuys 134 addons

    I don't know much at all about Mini winner @bobcam but I'd be surprised if that was not a PB. Been here a goodly while, 14 years at least.

    Heads up specialist @benc was 2nd, so that's a feather in the cap of @bobcam.

    After winning UKOPS 01 on Friday we've nit seen much of @Drewett until he popped up here in 3rd.

    @cpfc_2010 was 4th. He's not played many events, he never showed up on Friday & has only played 2 or 3 events per night since. Busy at work or sulking because Spurs gave Palace a good thrashing.

    @bobcam 1400000 1 £1499.90

    @benc 0 2 £877.30

    @Drewett 0 3 £500.91

    @cpfc_2010 0 4 £384.88

    @Hod4k997 0 5 £328.28

    £22 entry UKOPS 36 £3,000 Bounty Hunter (£3,880)

    150 entries 44 rebuys

    This was Leg 2 of the @Gutshotter win double. Sharky rate him at 90 so he clearly has game.

    2nd was Danny @Itsover4u making only his 2nd FT of the Series, though he's not played many, mainly been trying to satellite in to stuff & protecting his 'roll I guess.

    A very fine 3rd for @or8treacle. Usually plays more modest stakes so 3rd here was a big result for him, especially as he would have hoped to run a little better in the other one he played, the O8.

    One step off the podium in 4th & a 5th series FT for @T_Bundy, finishing 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 6th.

    5th was @summers119 which I think was his first FT of the Series.

    @Gutshotter 582000 1 £528.65 + £141.09 Head Prizes 4

    @Itsover4u 0 2 £317.19 + £187.05 Head Prizes 14

    @or8treacle 0 3 £194 + £86.30 Head Prizes 6

    @T_Bundy 0 4 £152.29 + £36.24 Head Prizes 3

    @Summers119 0 5 £129.98 + £56.71 Head Prizes 4

    @funkybunch 0 6 £109.42 + £60.34 Head Prizes 5

    £55 entry UKOPS 37 £3,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£4,500)

    75 entries 15 rebuys

    @Vertigo is proving a very likeable addition to the Sky Poker ranks & booked his 2nd win in what i believe is his first ever UKOPS Series. Been doing OK away from UKOPS too, in the last 4 nights he has finished 1st, 1st & 2nd in the regular 8.45pm Mega. I gave up trying to count them, but he may have played more UKOPS satellites than anyone.

    Two FT's in a row for runner-up @T_Bundy

    @grinddd, 5th in the Hyper the night before, was 3rd.

    5th was @loololollo & if I'm not mistaken that's his first FT of the Series. Wrong week to run bad.

    After making two FT's on the first night we've not seen much of @Granite89 but he managed a 6th place here.

    @Vertigo 450000 1 £652.50 + £433.13 Head Prizes 8

    @T_Bundy 0 2 £427.50 + £299.55 Head Prizes 11

    @grinddd 0 3 £264.38 + £79.69 Head Prizes 4

    @Fabraclass 0 4 £213.75 + £73.24 Head Prizes 3

    @loololollo 0 5 £174.38 + £80.86 Head Prizes 3

    @Granite89 0 6 £146.25 + £60.94 Head Prizes 3

    On the same night last year the softly spoken @ChipDiddy0 was beaten into 2nd by @roddy28 but he got his consolation last night by taking the top spot.

    @Froozle & @StayOrGo both made their 2nd FT of the Series in 3rd & 4th respectively.

    @GSmith13 can't buy a win at the moment but has had 5 FT's, finishing 2nd, 2nd, 3rd 4th & 5th, though one of those runner-up spots was in a HR & netted him ~£2,500, beaten only by @destinycod. As it happens, those two now sit 1st & 2nd in the Leaderboard.

    @ChipDiddy0 460000 1 £1008.90

    @Reds69 0 2 £584.10

    @Froozle 0 3 £354

    @StayOrGo 0 4 £283.20

    I think I've only played two live PLO8 tournaments. Both times the WSOP $1500. I did also play a $1500 O8 and didn't realise it was limit until about 25 minutes in. Not sure I've really played many live PLO tournaments either...less than ten lifetime, maybe less than five. I did play PLO at high stakes for about three years roughly five nights a week in about 2001. Four cards is fun.

    @NChanning

    Your THM CV also includes a solitary 5 card Stud event at The Vic.

    Right pair of characters in 1st & 2nd there.

    Henry used to fascinate me. Someone told me he was a Count or a Member of East European royalty or somesuch. Dou8bt it was true but he always made me laugh.

    What's Paul Parker up to these days?

    Haven't seen Paul for a few years. I think I entered that event as we were coming to the end of the year and I had a chance of winning something in a leaderboard thing. I can't really remember whether I won anything on the leaderboard but it was the only 7-card stud tournament I have ever played. There was one year when I could be no1 in Europe and so I interrupted my Christmas trip away to go to Southend for a £500 freezeout. I lost a flip and had about an 18 hour journey to get there. The tournament was on the 30th December I think.
