This day last year
There was no write-up this day last year (it was an SPT weekend) so just a few results highlights.@waspy77 won the Main, & since then he's won it twice more.
@dee2014 took the Mini.
@Super_Oli & @cabbaz both had nice wins. Nothing changes, does it?
Where are they now?
Not really relevant today - with the exception of @billytheki (not seen since August) every winner is still here. The loyalty & longevity of Sky Poker players is remarkable all things considered.@TescoSteve won last year's 7 @ 7, & if he had disappeared there would have been a great tap in for someone.

Last night's Main made £5,340, virtually identical to last year which was £5,250. Similar story with Sheriff too, £1,200 last night, £1,150 last year. Ditto the Rebuy BH, £1,435 last night, £1,405 last year.
I almost feel like apologising for my fixation - obsession even? - with numbers, but they fascinate me.
Anyway, on we go. There were two players who had an outstanding night, & we'll start with @MikeyW94, who most of you "know" so to speak. Here's his full schedule & results last night;
Main - 1st
Mini - 28th
Sheriff - 1st
Turbo - 2nd
Quickdraw - 6th
So, 5 games, 4 FT's & 2 wins. Spectacular stuff by any standards.
Our other star turn was @T_Bundy & it's possible to argue he did even better. He played just 3 MTT's as follows;
Main - 5th
Mini - 3rd
Turbo - 1st
So, three MTT's played, finishing 1st, 3rd & 5th.
In both cases, the power of variance seen at it's very best. Both are good players, but variance can appear to make them much better - or worse.
Continuing that theme, you may have spotted that @T_Bundy was 5th in Main & 3rd in Mini, so gets £200 from the FTJ fund. Which neatly brings us back to our friend/foe "variance", as that's the 3rd time in 4 nights there has been a FTJ winner. Here's a Post about that which I wrote on another thread this morning.

The Sky Poker Final Table Jackpot takes quite a bit of winning.
Broadly speaking, the Main get ~180 entries, the Mini ~270, & to win a share of the Jackpot a player has to finish in the top six of both, on the same night.
The FTJ "runs" 365 nights per year. Pure guess on my part, but a FTJ payout probably takes place 12 to 15 times per year. (May be slightly more, but I don't keep records).
This week it's happened 3 times in 4 nights.
