12 min  blinds is ok... dont forget its TV covered  so  finish time has to  be considered
    ...

This is like the old days
(cant remember the tourney name then,  something Five O)  but  50 limit was great, it was only  when they  made it 500 that it lost it's edge and impact ..

The good thing with this kind of tourney is, with satellites from £2 ish  it gives everyone a shot at a big-time game , while having the spotlight of it being a TV event ..

Great to see this kind of tournament back !

I know I have a grizzle when things aren't right, but praise where praise is  due ..Well done Sky..  would that be Bernie ?

I played in a tournie on another nameless site recently where the structure was better than i've ever played before. Anything partially like it would improve the tournies on sky imo.

It was a 5k starting stack with 10/20 blinds with a 3 ante from the first level. Blinds then increased by only small amounts to 15/30/5 20/40/5 30/60/6 40/80/7 etc etc Not only did the blinds increase very slowly but the blind levels were half an hour in an online tournie. It was a 6 max tournament so the antes forced people to play, but every one was very deep so it was one of the most enjoyable tournaments i've ever had the pleasure of not cashing in!

great tourny ...just what we need.

Check the semi, it is set at 12 min blinds 4k chips.. I dont think the £2 and £10 buyins justify having the same structure as they are just a fraction of the main buyin.

Sounds great and i'd love to have a go at entering, but i cant miss my darts night on a Thursday, any chance of alternating between the last Thursday and the last Wednesday of each month just to accommodate me??

Very good point loony! I play pool on a Thursday night so I will not be able to enter either. I am sure Rover has his DIY classes on Thursday nights aswell.

So Sky......for those of us with a life away from 24/7 poker.......where is the alternative for us? Can you not try and get the odd Saturday night spot just after Game of the Day?......

Yes, there is a reason. I'll be Posting a LOT more details about this later this evening, once I have finished todays pe-records in the studio.

It IS a 50 Seat Tourney. ONLY 35 seats are for sale, direct, or via Satellites.

The other 15 seats will be...........given away. ;)

    More later.

EDITED at 7.30pm Wednesday. Thanks for pointing out my glaring error, my apologies.
