Morning.

This day last year

Congrats to @DW1414 who took down the Hitman Main for the 2nd time in 2 months. Got in at the very last moment too, via the 19.59 £1.80 All-In Sat. Is in his 15th year here, with his biggest win being an £8,000 BH 7 years ago. Tough FT last night with the likes of @Jscorgie (2nd) @cabbaz (4th) & @loololollo (6th). @loololollo then ran 2nd in Sheriff.

It was Beauty & The Beast in the Rebuy BH as the handsome debonair & youthful looking @Super_Oli beat the slightly less well-endowed @NOSTRI heads up.

@NOSTRI had the better night overall though, & a very good night it was, 2nd in a £300 Rebuy, 2nd in the £1k Rebuy, 4th in a £400 BH, and topped it off by winning the Turbo after satting in for just £1.80. A most satisfactory night for the enigmatic software nerd.

@splashies had a deep run in the Main and won Mega.

@bossquaid who has won Reload no less than 4 times took last night's MidEx also for the 4th time, so that's a very rare double four-timer.

Where are they now?

@splashies who has been here for ever & had a solid ROI over a 35,000 sample size has not been on site since June of this year. Was a very popular player, much liked by most. He has a birthday this month too. Anyone still in touch with him? Hope he's OK.

After two flat nights, especially Wednesday, numbers bounced back nicely last night, especially the Main which made £6,210, a handsome 28% up on last year's £4,830. There was no football of note that night either, as was the case last night, so it's a straight comparison.

@LFCChris86 took the Main, which was a little unexpected. Been here just over 3 years & is nicely in profit, but most of his MTT successes come in stuff like Quickdraw, which he's won many times. Don't think he plays cash, certainly not much, anyway.

In the Mini, @Bcarney97 prevailed. Been here just over a year but played just 152 MTT's. Only one other significant win but that was a good one, took down the Sharpy Main at the end of September, so his record now is two wins - a Main & a Mini.

@NChanning had a solid session, playing just 4 MTT's, winning Mega & 4th in Turbo. I'm inclined to think he probably plays his best poker in non -BH's, though I'm just guessing. It's an age thing.

Also among the night's better efforts, @JBERGZ won Turbo & was 2nd in Sheriff.

Sheriff went to @Froozle, who has 3 Major victories on a glittering CV, though his best score was 2nd in a 2021 UKOPS Main for just shy of £6,000. Has a dozen or more cashes in excess of £2,000 & a 37% ROI over a sample size of 24,000 at an ABI of £13.

@BING restricted himself to just 2 Mega & 9 @ 9, winning the latter.

@mainspring - one to watch?...- took 7 @ 7. He won a big UKOPS Mini a few years ago.

For the 4th time, all this year, @davtherav won 7 @ 7.



@jinky77729 jinked his way to 1st place in Reload, one-tabled it too.

Also 1-tabling, @8wizard8 performed his magic to win MidEx.

As seems to be the case most night, the SPT Semi, needing entries to run, had 10 entries 2 minutes before start time, but than all the withdrawals took place as per & so it never ran again. Bit sad to see, but perfectly legit of course.

That will have to do for today.

Tonight sees the end of the "International Break" in football, thank goodness, I loathe those breaks with a passion. Sky Sports TV will be showing the Champo semi local derby between Rotherham & Leeds, the two clubs being separated by just 33 miles of a usually congested M1. Fair distance between them in the League Table though. Even so, Rotherham must have some value appeal at 13/2, & for sure backing Leeds away at 2/7 does not sound much fun. Sounds like an ideal spot to set fire to £5 or £10 to me.
