As a committed and practical Christian allow me to kick this cr4p into touch once and for all.
Does The Bible teach that homosexuality is wrong. Yes it does.
However, it also teaches that a man should not lay with his Mother or a Father with his Daughter and yet for Christians the very essence of life comes from what must have been two incestuous periods.
Firstly if Adam and Eve are literal then population could only have come from incestuous inbreeding.
Secondly, The Bible tells us that the only survivors after the Great Flood were the animals of the Ark, Noah, Noahs wife, their 2 Sons and the wife of one of those sons. So once again population from incest.
So Christians stop your freaking hypocrisy
Now personally I'm a lot more outraged by incest than I am homosexuality and yet all the agenda pushed by the media seems to portray some great anti gay crusade by Christianity.
If 2 people live in a relationship of LOVE, HONOUR, TRUST, CARE, RESPECT and RESPONSIBILITY, I couldn't give a flying rats a55 whether they are straight, gay, bi, trans or any other orientation or gender.
Would I consider the relationship "normal". No probably not but I'd consider it a lot more healthy than many that don't adhere to the above.
To put it into a modern Western setting, I'd rather engage with somebody who is different from me by virtue of their sexual orientation or their gender identity yet is a genuine person, than a "straight, conservative person" who thinks that beating or cheating on the wife / husband /partner and kids, or suchlike is how humans should behave.
There are millions of Christians who are too busy trying to make a small difference to the world to worry about whether somebody is gay or who identifies as the opposite sex or is non binary.
The only people who genuinely give a dam are the far right Christian groups (freaking loonies every last one) and the far left LGBTQ+ groups (equally poisonous) and media selling column inches and advertising on the back of these idiots.
I'll wrap it up with this. We are Christians, followers of Jesus Christ. It is well documented that he often associated with those considered "unclean" "bad" and "wicked". He ate with them, socialised with them and encouraged his disciples to always consider the "outcast".
Any Christian who has issues with gay or trans lifestyles really needs to refer to Jesus example.
Oh and mainstream media Fk off and report on what matters to most Christians or better still don't report at all.
There is a problem with people trying to force what they believe Christian values to be on the law in America. In such a way that goes against not just human decency but basic science and math.
I will say there is another faith which round the world is doing far worse and gets a lot less press because it is not politically correct to criticise that.
I think people who discriminate against sexual orientation or gender identity should not be allowed to adopt or foster children, because it would be unfair on a gay or trans child to be taught that they are bad or their nature is sinful.
If you have a Christian Muslim or Hindu or whatever else who is fine and tolerant with gay or Gender identity then no issue with them adopting or fostering.
abortion is another ilk that gets me, its actually debatable whether the bible itself is actually anti abortion or if that is a certain misrepresentation.
That been said it goes against basic math science and logic. we have a population problem with the rate we are growing as a population it is mathematically unsustainable. I think someone worked out that if we continued population expansion at this rate constantly for the next thousand years we would have people standing on top of each with every inch of earth covered stretching out to the edge of the galaxy or was it universe? anyway either way that is unsustainable. it does not matter how much you advance of increase food production or whatever else if this growth continues you will have people dying on mass by starvation war and disease its unavoidable.
Also why do we have such a ratio of gay people in society you dont see that normally in other species. the reason is simple left to nature they would mate with same sex not reproduce often and therefore not propagate their genes but shame them and punish them into hetro relationships and their genes get passed on more then they would naturally.
I am not advocating against homosexuality here if anything I am advocating for it simply because we have a population problem but if you really wanted to eliminate homosexuals there is a way that would drastically cut their numbers down and that would be to let them live their lives in peace as homosexuals. Rather Ironic that.
so for moral reasons or basic necessity reasons let people have birth control and let people be with whomever they want so long as it is with consenting adults.
