Morning.
The usual brief Sunday morning run-through.
This day last year
"Much quieter than Friday, with the Main & Mini just narrowly covering. That "new" £16.50 entry £1,000 guaranteed at 9pm is interesting. On Friday it got 86 entries & made £1,290, last night 50 entries & missed by £250. That's a £500 swing in 24 hours in a £1,000 comp. Bizarrre.
Tonight will be fun, with England v Senegal kicking off at 7pm. Bloodbath expected. In the poker, I mean...
Last night was all about a very interesting semi-newcomer in @Tastysnack. Joined Sky Poker on 30th December last year & played the UKOPS Main, finishing 10th, then played a few biggies in February, running 2nd in Summit & 4th in a Major in the same week. Pretty much disappeared then until last month, & now seems to be cashing for fun, & pulled off an eye-opening win treble last night, taking the £1k BH, the Main, & the 9pm £16.50er. On Friday was 3rd in Avenger Main, & on Thursday won the Rebuy BH & was 2nd in the Main. Nobody is doing better right now & it will be interesting to see how he develops. Could just be heater time, but could just as likely be a bit special. We shall see. PS - when you are hot you are hot; he also won £100 in today's Daily Draw. Note also in the last 3 nights he has finished 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the Main.
@BEANIE took the Mini for the second time, also has sundry other wins including Reload & MidEx. @Asho28 who has been AWOL for a week or so was an excellent 6th.
@bigzeus has not been seen in these threads since finishing 2rd in a 7 @ 7 18 months ago, but he returned in style last night by winning it. Very pleased to see a good run into 5th by @bettingben who has been doing well recently in MML & FTT.
@corlex turns up most nights & just single tables the Rebuy BH & he took his maiden win last night. @AnimalFarm who inadvertently started a contentious Forum thread was 4th. He only joined last month, has played just 67 MTT's & has been cashing regularly. Seems a decent sort judging by his Forum posts.
I assume @HurriKane is a play on England striker Harry Kane, well if you want an omen, he won last night's Quickdraw, was 2nd in the Rebuy BH, & won himself £100 in the Daily Draw.

Playing for the first time in a week, & just his 8th MTT in 4 months, @AZZO_66 took Sharpshooter. It's his 2nd Sharpshooter Main win, as he won one in August of last year, in fact those are his only two mentions ever, two Sharpy wins & nothing else at all. Often plays late night £50 Heads Up Speeds.
2nd was @smashYRace & a trawl of the archives uncovers a very surprising fact - his best 5 MTT scores here on Sky Poker have all been for finishing 2nd, & that those 5 results have been over nine years - runner up in two Sunday Majors (both in 2018), a Hitman Main (2020), Sharpshooter Main (last night) & a £5k BH (2014). Time he won a biggie.
Just 3 days after winning Wednesday's Predator Main, @leftarmove nearly did it again, finishing a close up 3rd. Seems to be just single-tabling the Main most night at the moment.
@Elliot4444 plays the Mini most nights, was 14th on Friday & won it last night.
The Big Boys had a decent night, with two wins for @GFKIJKLL (Turbo & MidEx), & a win each for @Arrogant (9 @ 9), @tonyp142 (Reload) & @bigfatfish (Quickdraw).
With SPT Manchester just days away the Semi is running nightly now. @__Assassin won his 2nd seat, &, remarkably, @StayOrGo his 4th, of which the last three have been on consecutive nights, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. As far as I'm aware, 4 seats is the max a player can win, though I've been known to be wrong.
That'll have to do for today. Sorry it's so brief, but I've got things to do, & I overlaid this morning.
