Well we finished the year on a high with only one person not in profit for the meeting. Winner of the day was JAMES thanks to MARTHA BRAE 17/2 in the last race although WYNNE got the biggest profit on the day thanks to AURIGNY MILL 9/1 , SIR GINO 4/9 and MASTER CHEWY 13/8. Winner of the festival was GINNY who pinched MASTER CHEWY and TWEED SKIRT 4/1 also nabbed by second place ANDY. TERRY got EDITUER DE GITE 5/1 .
CONGRATULATIONS TO ANDY who hunted TERRY DOWN after his amazing start to win the marathon. TERRY tried to reclose the gap near the end but just couldnt get that one big winner and ANDY kept pulling out one or two winners to maintain the gap at the finish. It became close for 3rd late on but on the last day GINNY just reclaimed it from GRAHAM. ERIC was unlucky going from 2nd last year to holding the WOODEN SPOON but that was mainly because ZADOC couldnt compete in the later months.
Many thanks to GRAHAM and ALAN for all their help over this years and the many years beforehand. It has been a competition which has brought us togethr as a group and has been very friendly. Whilst we will continue in 2024 in facebook it wont seem the same, Also thanks to @Tikay10 for his support in getting us poker prizes.
Graham will deal with the one naps comp as he always does but in the meantime here are the prize winners for the OVERALL.
Well @SidV79 adds the "ONE NAP" comp to his overall win, as he finished like a steam train with a 12/1 winner yesterday and a 4/1 shot today. Spare a thought for @Accipiter who looked to have one hand on the "ONE NAP" trophy with two days to go, until he got "chinned" on the line by Andy, but I am sure he'll dust himself down and be ready for the other comps in the New Year.
Echoing @vaigret's comments, it's a bit of the end of an era for the SkyPoker NAPS comp which must have been running, in various forms, for 6 years or so, originally starting as a Jackpot Syndicate.
It's been a fun journey with you all, and I wish you all the best for 2024.

Well an end of an era with the demise of our horse racing comps on Sky. Many thanks to you all for your participation and support over the years. A special thanks to Alan for all his help, Graham and I couldnt have done it without you buddy and I hopw you will still be able to help me on Facebook in 2024. Coming to that the TWO FOR SATURDAY NAPS for 2024 starts on FACEBOOK on 6th January 2024 with the last date for entry and payment being the 31st December 2023 although it would be nice if I knew one way or the other beforehand. At the moment ALAN, TERRY, GINNY, JAMES AND ANDY have already entered. GRAHAM, WYNNE AND MARK have declined so I am waiting on ERIC.

Hi @vaigret. Yes, we did have a bit of a rough start lol, probably because we are similar in many ways. It's been great working with you and getting a better understanding of each other over the years, and yes, would be good to meet up at a racecourse at some point.
We'll still be in regular contact as I assist with the comps, I wish you all the best mate and thanks for providing a lot of fun for everyone.
