    To be honest 15 months to construct the £9.5m project is not a bad timescale. Particularly as I assume that they had to keep most parts of the station operational during construction.

    As it will be fully accessible for wheelchair users following completion it is likely to be well worth it IMHO.

    On many occasions my daughter has felt somewhat stranded at railway stations when she has had to wait ages for wheelchair assistance. People just don't realise how much pre planning has to be done if you are aiming to travel by train when you are wheelchair dependant or indeed otherwise impaired.
