Who won what, Sunday 7th January. On a very busy night, ozzieowen wins Major again

This day last year
"It was a very familiar name atop the Main as @Arrogant prevailed, & he also ran 3rd in the Mega, so presumably made a good few bob on the night.
Not so familiar was the Mini winner @Jcoulie & that's maybe because he has played just 6 MTT's lifetime here, 1 this time last year & the other 5 in the last 2 days. Needless to say this was his maiden win & he's nicely in profit on his Sky Poker mini-journey so far.
@DEBBIE222 completed a hat-trick of wins in the £1k BH over the last 6 months or so, & has won a few £400 BH's.
@SMARTGOAT took the 7 @ 7. Has had a number of big results including an Avenger Main & a UKOPS Rebuy, & seems to do really well in £5 to £15 HU Speed games, in fact they currently sit on top of the Sharkscope Leaderboard (all sites, not just Sky Poker) for 2023. Early days of course, but winning that would be a real feather in the the kid's cap.
In the £1k Rebuy BH @the-ogre consumed his opponents, not sure if he's won this before but he has taken down the 7 @ 7 at least half a dozen times. The exceptionally profitable & consistent @neenio was 2nd with @bossquaid in 5th.
@Super_Oli had yet another good evening, winning Mega, 4th in Turbo, & winning a seat into the Main via a satellite. Sharky give him a 91 rating, so he's pretty useful.
A few years ago @Annemily won a Mini UKOPS for around £1,200, & we've not seen too much of them since but they took last night's 9 @ 9 which made decent money again. 2nd was @Jessieak with @aynaricol aka Denise Coates in 4th.
@bakersdoze registered his 2nd featured MTT win of 2023, taking MidEx to add it to the £1k BH he won on Sunday."

Bumper numbers last night, I'd not be surprised if it was the busiest night for a year or so outside of UKOPS nights. The £1k Rebuy made £1,730, the £6k BH came in at one entry shy of £7,000, the Major made £15,000 (when was the last time that happened?), the £1,500 Mini Major, which misses almost every week hit £1,620, the £1,000 Sheriff made £1,700, and the £1,000 Quickdraw came in one entry south of double it's guarantee. And just to show how unpredictable MTT numbers are, Mid Ex overlaid by £20.
The extra-large Major went the way of @ozzieowen who was having his first session of the year, & he was also 5th in Mega & 6th in Turbo. The Sharky 2024 Sky Poker MTT Leaderboard has now appeared & @ozzieowen sits proudly atop with 3 times as much profit as 2nd placed @chrisdonkb though of course it's a bit meaningless at this time of year. @ozzieowen surely does as well as anyone on the site in the Major, having made the FT 19 times (1st twice, 2nd 6 times, 3rd 5 times, 4th 4 times & 5th twice). A smashing result for runner-up @shirley02 who got in via an 8.30pm £2.20 Frenzy & walked away with £2,430. For the 2nd time in 3 nights we saw a FTJ, with @Thoich collecting a bonus £250 for 4th in Major & 3rd in Mini.
@claudel9 took the Mini Major for the third time in 5 months. Had a spectacular heater last Autumn, then went a bit flat at the end of the year, so hopefully the tide has turned now. Rather oddly the FT was real C-List stuff, 4 of the 6 finalists had aliases starting with C including @claudel9 (1st), @chrisdonkb (2nd), @chkngeorge (5th) & @Casey (6th).
The £6k BH came in at almost £7,000 with cash-game specialist @alancarr12 showing he's no mug at MTT's either, though we knew that already as he's won the Major three times. 2nd was @waspy77 who is very low volume but was runner-up in a Marksman Main a month ago. 5th was @2Guys1Acct who we may well see at SPT Brighton, which was where he had his biggest ever Live cash of some £65,000 for winning a UKIPT.
Much to the relief of many @Natnug had a few days break to start the year but he's hit the ground running now with 3 wins inside 24 hours, taking back-to-back MidEx (Saturday & Sunday) plus the £1k BH last night. His nearest adversary in last year's Sharky MTT Leaderboard, @loololollo is doing OK too, 1st in last night's Reload & 4th in Turbo, having already notched up 2024 wins in Sheriff, 9 @ 9 & 7 @ 7.
@Drewett missed much of December but is in good nick now it seems, registering a lovely win double last night, Mega & Quickdraw.
River_Fox continues, winning last night's 9 @ 9 & 2nd in Quickdraw. Nobody has a better 2024 record in Quickdraw, with finishes of 2nd, 2nd, 3rd & 6th.
In the PLO8 @HOLLYWHIT will have been disappointed to finish 2nd to @cestlavie but that's life.
