"10 days after winning the £1k BH, @AdamFunkenjoyed a personal best by taking down last night's Hitman Main with serial winner @podraic 2nd & @Steed432 3rd. A great effort by @JACKDAW saw him finish 4th, and the rise & rise of @bossquaid saw him finish 6th, the 2nd time he's made a Main Event FT in 2023.
@WESSSSSST joined Sky Poker almost 3 years ago & took the Mini for the first time last night. That was his 2nd best result here, beaten only by a Reload victory in October.
@Ramoerrr had a lovely Win Double, Mega & Quickdraw. That makes it 4 Featured MTT wins in 2023, as he's already accounted for a Major (on Sunday), and a Hitman Main last week. Serious heater, that.
Talking of heaters, the endearingly popular streamer @PKRPar seems to win something every other day, & he added Sheriff last night. He has notched up wins in Mini, Quickdraw & 9 @ 9 already, so he too has 4 Featured MTT wins this year.
@hhammerhea continues to move up the gears & had a quick-fire double last night, winning two 9pm Tourneys - 9 @ 9 & a £200 freezeout, this coming just days after he took down a Reload. He has a cracking ROI, nearly 50%, over an 8,000 game sample size.
As so often seems to happen, time has beaten me again, so that will have to do for today".
It's SO hard to predict MTT traffic levels, & last night's Main was a great example, after a spell of strong traffic it suddenly overlaid by no less than £620. That's quite a lump in a £5k MTT, especially one that usually performs well. There was one decent football match Live on TV but I'm not sure we can blame that. Sadly, the new £500 BH @ 19.35 missed for the very first time, though only by 2 entries.
Anyway, that aside, we saw an extraordinary all round performance by @Curt360x27. How about this for a single session?

When a good player is at the top of their game & running well, almost anything is possible. Superb binkage there Curt, WP.
@Natnug is right back up to speed too, he won both Quickdraw & MidEx, was 3rd in Sheriff, 4th in the £1k BH, 5th in a £400 BH & won his Main Event seat in a £7.20 satellite. Any other night he'd win the fictitious but cherished "Player of the Day" accolade, but we can't deny Curt on this occasion.
Moving on now, the Main went to @Gooner1955, so yet another trophy for the mighty Arsenal. Mr Gooner - who we are going to guess is in their late sixties - has only been here around 8 months & not played much at all, just 140 MTT's. This was his first ever win, though he ran 3rd in a £1k BH in mid-December. @TIMBER fell in 2nd - I really must stop using that awful pun - with @roddy28 in 4th. @mackarel21 was 5th. I wonder how often he's been called a "fish" in Table Chat?
@funkybunch won the Mini, just 24 hours after finishing 6th in Gold Rush Main, & there was a terrific effort by @tomgoodun to finish 5th.
@lee_long mostly 1-tables & almost always the Mega, so it was good to see him take it down last night, the 5th time he's won it.
Two nights ago @ZULUuk so nearly broke his thread duck, running 7th in 9 @ 9, & perseverance paid off when he took the win last night.
@Pogue909seems to enjoy 1-tabling Reload, & last night he won it for at least the 9th time. Turn up, win £300, go home. Think I could get used to that.
Tremendous news for the below-stairs staff at Enut Castle as @Enut ships the 7 @7. He's exceptionally generous to his underlings when he wins, & they can all expect a slice of Battenberg today. Mrs Enut will be delighted too, she probably has a 50% stake in his winnings.

Thanks for your kind words @Tikay10. I will indeed be treating the staff, the win comes at an opportune time as they had struggled to eek out the Christmas dinner left overs for as long as I had hoped. With that and allowing them to stand near the warm air outflow from the boiler for 5 minutes every second day I'm not sure what else I can do to make their lives easier.
Mrs Enut, by the way, gets no share of any poker winnings. She still regards it as just gambling, probably fixed and is surprised I haven't lost the house yet, even after 15+ years of playing.
With respect to the 7@7 I am the first to complain about how badly I run, yet last night's 7@7 heads up was the best I've ever run at poker, I was completely outplayed by Banterjam but got lucky over and over again, I got my year's worth of run good in the last 15 minutes of that MTT.
I did think I'd won when I jammed my set of 10s on a 2,8,J,6,10 board only to be called by 97 for his rivered straight, however after that I got very, very lucky including K5 beating K10 AIP, K7s beating A5 AIP and finally 34 beating A3 AIP (admittedly for his last one BB). He typed 'I give up' when he jammed the A5 so I though I had to call with K7 suited, me winning that hand and the next one (with 34) probably just about did him in. Unlucky Banterjam.
If anyone sees me have a moan about how badly I run just type '7@7' in the chat box and I'll shut up
