'Change is necessary' Mourinho sacked by RomaRoma published a statement on their decision to part ways with the 60-year-old Portuguese.
“We thank Jose on behalf of all of us at AS Roma for the passion and commitment he has shown since his arrival,” said Roma owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin.
“We will always have great memories of his stewardship, but we believe that, in the best interests of the club, immediate change is necessary.
“We wish Jose the best for the future.”

Longest time he has ever spent at a club? 3 years.

Where might The Special One land his next job?
His best days are a longggggggggggg way behind him, but he's fun to observe, as long as you don't support the Club he manages. As you will know...
I supported Mourinho. I even supported George Graham (who was desperate to succeed at Spurs). I supported Conti (though I was glad when he left, as he made Maureen look like an attack-minded coach who was willing to take responsibility for his own mistakes). The only exception was Terry Neill. Should never have been allowed anywhere near my Club-should have stayed in South London.
Maureen belongs to a different era. Not just tactically-FFP means that his days of working with an unlimited budget has gone. His strength was always finding players to buy, and short-term success. His weakness was the way he would pick on certain players, plus his inability to stay anywhere.
If I was a Newcastle fan, I would be hoping that they go on a good run.
