    People need to be cautious about Temu.

    Much like Amazon, a lot of stuff is sold by different people through Temu-people who would not necessarily all meet various standards.

    Temu's parent Company is Pinduoduo. A Company started in 2015, that by 2021 achieved a GMV (that's sales by them, sales by 3rd parties through them, plus commissions) of $383 Billion.

    Pinduoduo were the first named Company on the USA's "Notorious Markets" list, and remains on there today. Google removed Pinduoduo's app because of malware within it-it is worth noting that the Company's founder is a former Google software engineer.

    Pinduoduo agreed to disband the team of Engineers believed to be responsible for that.

    The majority were transferred to a new subsidiary Company-Temu.
