It's a 6 player Sit N Go, similar to a DYM except that only the top two get paid, so greater variance than a DYM.

6 max typically refers to any game with 6 seats as the maximum, rather than full ring games which are typically 9 seats but can be 10.

6 plus holdem is a variant of holdem where all cards deuces through fives are removed. Otherwise known as short deck, a flush beats a full house due to the probability of one occurring being lower than NLHE.

I was thinking of these, but now I read the question again, I think i got hold of the wrong end of the stick.

Essentially, Sky Poker is a Six Max site, there's very little full ring.
