    He is a very good player. Doesn't play as much as he used to-but one of the very best players.

    Has he played that hand poorly? Of course. His main error is the size of his 3-bet. It is so big that, once he is reraised, there is no good play.

    What I suspect happened is this. He may have gone out of other MTTs elsewhere. May have decided it is time for a double up or call it a night. I'm not saying people should do that-just that they do.

    We all play hands badly. We all need luck. It's just that some players play less hands badly, and need a bit less luck...

    Having said all that, would not be happy to go out in this way ;)
