    Hey @Doubleme if I remember correctly?

    I'm sure there was a long monologue on said topic.....Didn't you have a furry family member at home who could possibly sub for you😉?

    Hope to finally meet up at Brighton!?

    Cheers

    Was fortunate enough to win a seat last night, I will go ahead and book accommodation etc shortly. @Tikay10 how do you normally contact the seat winners? I get too many spam calls a day to think about answering a phonecall and expecting it to be legit :smiley:

    Also, looking at the structure, the one thing I would potentially recommend is to have the tournament finish a little earlier in general on the Sunday, instead of around 1am. This will help players with travel, accommodation etc but I'm sure it has been brought up before

    @gr0wapear

    You get an e-Mail, never a 'phone call. But all you have to do is turn up on the day & go to Registration Desk, your name will be there, if there are any problems, come see James or myself.

    It's not that easy to get Sunday to finish earlier in truth. We start at 1pm already, so it would have to be a change in the structure & some would argue it's quick enough already. In reality, the late finish only affects a handful of players, maybe 3 or 4, we usually make the Final by around 6 or 7pm, with half the FT busto within an hour or two. Very rare there are more than 3 or 4 players left by around 10pm. Those 3 or 4 never complain about the late finish as they all have a good few bob locked up.

    Well done last night, look forward to seeing you there.

    If you're coming?

    a) book soon
    b) be prepared for a shock at the cost; even of a travelodge!
    c) if you do the travelodge (seafront) and are driving? Park at the casino and walk between as the NCP charges for 24 hours, man you will need to win the SPT to pay the parking bill!👹💩💷

    See you there...I've missed a couple of years in Brighton so looking forward to it!

    Gl guys

    @toonblazer

    UKOPS usually take place three times each year;

    1) Easter

    2) Autumn, roughly speaking last week of October, first week of November

    3) Christmas, usually 27th to 30th inclusive, or thereabouts.

    Sadly, they don't award UKOPS Bracelets these days, but you still get the money &, perhaps more importantly, the bragging rights.

    Hi stranger, how you doing?

    Satellites for SPT Glasgow? I'd guess they'll start first or second week in May.

    Look forward to seeing you there.

    I believe it will go ahead, but no date & nothing official has been announced yet.

    Great, thanks for the update. The sooner I can get the date on the family calendar, the more likely it will be that I can play.
