So every time I look up one of these really cheap places they tend to have very high crime rates to the point that if you lived there for a few years you would have a greater then 50% chance of been burgled and a greater then 50% chance of been mugged out and about.
further they tend to have some sort of Leasehold/association or any other number of things where you end up paying close to the equivalent of renting somewhere in annual bills sometimes more then this.
Then they also happen to be dilapidated and in dire need of renovation.
Now if your talking about an area which is safe to live in and the properties do not come with large annual/monthly bills and are not in dire need of renovation and these properties are going for 20k well now you genuinely have me interested.
