"@shirley02 took Avenger Main, less than 2 months since winning Sharpy Main.
@Hod4k997 had a wonderful session, winning both the Mini & MidEx. It's a double of sorts, as he won the Avenger Main just over a year ago. Has also notched up past victories in Gold Rush Main, & a UKOPS. Last night's MidEx win was, I think, the 10th or 11th time they've taken that one down, & they've won Mega half a dozen times, Reload several times & a Mini Hitman. 5th was @mysteryreg who was attempting to win back-to-back Minis as he won Thursday's version. He was runner-up in Mega too.
What a three days @235467 has had. On Wednesday they won the Main, Thursday they took Sheriff, but last night was exceptional, winning a BWBH seat via a satellite, then winning BWBH itself for £1,750, following up with 4th in Turbo & 3rd in MidEx. Yikes, that's serious form.
The lovable but crusty @ctbn took Mega. We might see him at Brighton - he was there last year, even though he lives somewhere dreadful, Scotland I think.
@JammyFker who I'm pleased to see is becoming a Forum regular, took the Rebuy BH.
9 @ 9 was at or near the top of it's range at £1,233, and with typically astute timing it went to @Natnug.
There was a surprise in the opening £1k BH as @POISON007 who had not played a single MTT here this year turned up, single-tabled it, & took 1st place.
SPT Brighton satellites started last night, with @L_L_S_B& Essexphil booking their passage. The former has taken 15 years to play 188 MTT's here, whilst the latter has in excess of 30,000. Be great to see Phil there, for sure, especially if we can get @ctbn& @HAYSIE to come along too, as we'll have Team Curmudgeonly. Both @kidgirlgy & @coo1-um were prominent throughout only for the wheels to come off when it mattered, but maybe it suggests both might attend, which would be wonderful."
A reasonable night I suppose. The Main hit a very pleasing £6,330, & yet the Mini missed by a few entries. Meanwhile, Reload made a somewhat startling £2,001.
In the Main, @nervesof invested around £18 across 3 satellites, won a seat in the last, & went on to single table all the way to 1st place which was worth some £1,200. Nice return on £18, & I'm pretty sure it was a PB. Runner-up was @Froozle who occupied the same finishing possie in Quickdraw. In 5th was @GFKIJKLL who went on to win Mega as well as running 2nd in the new £500 BH.
Winner of that £500 BH was @GSmith13 was was making FT's for fun - 1st in the £500 BH, 6th in the Main, 4th in Sheriff, 5th in Turbo & 5th in MidEx. Most of us would be fairly pleased with that haul, but I doubt he was.
Undaunted by finishing 2nd in Wednesday's Mini,@PAPABURG tried again last night & came away with the win. 1st & 2nd on consecutive nights in the Mini is not at all easy with around 250 runners each night. Has some solid scores on his CV, including 1st in a UKOPS Mini & 4th in a UKOPS High Roller.
@loololollo was not having a great session but it all turned mid-evening, winning both Sheriff & Turbo, and 5th in Quickdraw, so it ended up as yet another profitable evening for him. With February just 8 days old, he's already won a Main, a Sheriff & two Turbos plus a few lesser bits & bobs.
The Rebuy BH went the way of one-tabler @andyman999 which means in the last week he's finished 1st, 2nd & 6th in it, as well as winning Reload. His alias ought to be HandyAndy.
@Chandawg4 has been absent from the MTT streets for over a month until showing up late last night & winning MidEx.
A thread debut for @Tvmoney who secured their first ever win by taking 9 @ 9. Not been here long as far as I can tell, so maybe one for the tracker.
The new £400 guaranteed PLO8 ran again but missed g'tee by 2 entries. Quite interesting to note that the £11 entry £400 guarantee PLO8 attracted 38 entries, whilst an hour earlier, the £5.50 entry £200 guaranteed PLO8 came in at 68 entries, which is not far shy of double. Make of that what you will. I decided to watch a good bit of it, whilst channel-flicking the TV between darts & golf. Yes, I know, WAL etc. @ImAmug took the win. Seems to be a PLO8 regular, & has made the FT of the nightly version several times. 2nd & 3rd were @onejohnb & @bbMike, both of whom have good track records in the game. @onejohnb has won the nightly PLO8 at least 18 times & must be one of the best at that format on the site. @bbMike is handy too, having finished 1st, 2nd & 3rd in UKOPS PLO8 events. @pompeynicwho had a horrible beat in an earlier renewal, ran a little better last night to finish 6th. That won't be enough to cover his costs for SPT Brighton but hopefully we'll see him there. Oh, I nearly forgot, what happened to the winner of this the preceding two weeks, @NChanning? He looked to be in a world of trouble early doors but then found his mojo & was Top 6 for a while before exiting in 17th place in what would have been a chip-leading pot had he won it. Look out for him in Saturday's PLO, in which he ran 2nd last week. Whether we'll see him Sunday remains to be seen, as it's Super-Bowl Sunday, which is a huge affair in Chez Channing & of course at Betting Emporium.
That'll have to do for today. I'm still struggling with access so work continues to be a bit awkward, but we are plugging on & hope to get back to normal soon.
