This day last year
"Not a great deal to get excited about last night so a fairly brief & mundane review today, my creative juices seem to be suffering something of a drought.
@poker55 has taken 15 years to play just 2,400 MTT's but it all seemed worthwhile last night when he took the Main, his bet ever score. In stark contrast, runner-up @Sirconk1 has been here barely 6 weeks, just 33 MTT's, and this was just 24 hours after he won Mega, so he might be a lively one. Donald @thisltedu was 4th, & his results just keep getting better & better, not bad considering he's not exactly in the first flush of youth.
The Mini went to @djnesbit, only his 2nd big win, the previous one being a Mega in 2021. In 2nd was @HAPPYNIGE4 who is named in honour of his cheery personality.
There was another PB in the Rebuy BH which went to @itstime. Wonder if that's Bruce Buffer?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDbMTB7bxLI@DUTCHESS62 is very much a late night specialist, having won MidEx more times than enough, but started earlier last night & took 9 @ 9. 4th was the mysterious @mysteryreg who has been here just 2 months & seems to be doing well, with several nice binks including Mini Hitman exactly a week earlier.
@kobkob05 won 7 @ 7 for the 2nd time, he took the £1k BH this time last month too.
It's been over a month since @Lobis played an MTT here but he popped in last night and single-tabled his way to 1st place in MidEx.
@HANSON booked his passage to SPT Brighton, along with @Chalky666.
@ILIKE2FISH won the Rewards Freeroll, then ran 6th in Mega & 3rd in MidEx.
@thedazzman helped himself to some free money, finishing 8th in the Rewards Freeroll for £30 & binking a £110 seat in the Major via the Sunday Major Freeroll. Money for nothing, gotta love it."

Main beneficiary of that was @GREGSTER who was winning his 2nd Main, the first being a 2019 Sharpshooter. Has also won a handful of Minis including two big ones, a 2018 "Super Mini" (whatever that is) & a 2020 UKOPS Mini, won an Avenger Mini too. Runner-up for the 2nd time in 3 weeks in Predator Main was @HHACKNEY, in fact it was his third Main FT in 2024. 5th was @fisherking, while 6th placed @claudel9 also ran 2nd in Mega.
In the Mini, @Brick123 who I believe is a relative newbie with just a few dozen MTT's to his name came out on top. Was runner-up in 7 @ 7 48 hours earlier so might well be handy. In 5th was @fisherking exactly as he was in the Main too, so he gets a bit of consolation by way of £100 from the FTJ.
At the turn of the year @Baboon26 promised he would do better this year & he seems to have kept his word thus far. Last night's 1st place in the £1k BH was his 3rd Featured MTT win in 2024, having already won a Main & a MidEx, he's also run 2nd in a Min & won a few bits & bobs.
As well as that big miss in the Main, there was a horror show in that new £500 BH @ 19.35 which came in at a disappointing £340. Winner was @AlexaAJ who also won another £500 BH 30 minutes later, 4th in Mini, 4th in Reload, & 2nd in a late night £300 Turbo BH. Typica AlexaAJ night then.
7 @ 7 went to @mysteryreg but the name that caught my eye was 3rd placed @Dollie. If you are reading this Gordon, hope you are well.
@tng makes their thread debut after winning the Rebuy BH which, to a degree, made up for a near miss 3 nights earlier when he was 13th. No idea what "tng" means but when I was at Building College it referred to tongue & grooved timber which I believe is still around these days.
@DONDAPA was 2nd in Mega a few weeks ago but got his revenge last night by doing one spot better last night.
After winning Monday's £500 BH, @lewjax79 stepped up last night to take the 9 @ 9. Does very well at the stakes he plays.
MidEx went to @JoseLopez who has already registered victories in 9 @ 9 & £1k Rebuy BH.
The enigmatic, unpredictable & at times unplayable @county won the PLO8. Plays very unconventionally which makes him such a difficult opponent.
@Whizzewky took down the Rewards Freeroll.
Finally, two more seats to SPT Brighton were won, ( @Kahuna96 & @Phoenix14g ) & rather surprisingly, with 15 seats booked so far in 6 nights of qualifying, there has yet to be a dupe.
