"Crushy @loololollowas in fine form, winning the Main (having won his seat in a satellite), though I was surprised to see it's the first time he's done so this year. It was his 2nd best cash of 2023, beaten only & narrowly by his 3rd place in a Major a few weeks back. Was also 2nd in Quickdraw, & by way of an encore, had a 6 streak in £20 & £30 Turbo DYM's. Decent FT in the Main too, as he was followed home by @podraic@Itsover4u& @bbMike.
@Gemster had confined himself to Freerolls for a whole week but invested £7.70 last night & ended up winning 7 @ 7. @waller02 was 4th & later in the evening, took down the 21.30 £500 BH.
There was a lively £1,000 Rebuy BH FT which went to @Arrogant with @NOSTRI 3rd & @hhammerhea 5th. @Summers119was 6th, having returned on Sunday from a 1 week break in sparkling form, with 5FT (including Mini Major) over 2 nights.
@AGENT_P is very low volume but took the 9 @ 9 for a PB.
@Boneyard85is a serial cashee in Reload, but wins are rare, and last night's victory was his first since July 2021.
The late night trio of Turbo, Quickdraw & MidEx were all won by relatively big-hitters in the form of @235467@AlexaAj& @luckme002 respectively.
For the 2nd straight night, the SPT Semi attracted a field of 20, meaning 4 seats. Seats went to two regulars -@Jessieak & @TimmyRaRa- plus @drarry12 & @ducielucie, with the latter playing his first MTT here for almost 3 years.
MTT traffic was probably somewhere near expectations last night, one small miss, & a few above their run-rate.
@Steed432has fairly modest volume, maybe around 50 MTT's this year, but in taking last night's Major was winning his third £100 event in 2024, having already tasted victory in both Summit & BWBH. In all he has won eight £100-ers, though last night's 1st prize of £3,444 is his biggest to date. Sharky rate him 94, perhaps partly influenced by a £45 ABI, but he's clearly a bit handy. Runner-up @Doooobsis another we have not seen much of this year, he has a growing family so I guess it gets awkward at times. It was by some way his best score this year. Has 20 or 30 4-figure scores to his credit, the best of which was a boomlet UKOPS High Roller for which he collected over £8,000. With the WSOP schedule just announced, he'll likely be looking to go play the PLO8 & Omaha Mix I would imagine, he does very well or there. 3rd was @alancarr12 who is perhaps better known for his cash game adventures, though I noted with interest that Sharky say his MTT ABI on Sky Poker is £112. Yikes.
The Mini Major went to @podraic who is exceptionally high volume - 6th highest so far on Sky Poker in 2024.
Our Upper Case friend @GFKIJKLL had a thoroughly splendid session with three good victories - the £6k BH, Sheriff & Quickdraw. Collectively, those three wins were worth around £2,000 which is decent money to most of us but he seems to do very well so I don't suppose he's over-excited. MBN & all that.
@iftalot has not been here long & only played ~150 MTT's but is going along nicely, already had wins in Mini Major & Reload, & added MidEx last night.
Reload went to @millys who won MidEx twice in the space of a few weeks last Spring.
Two more seats to SPT Brighton were won, with @Morris707 getting his first & @__Assassinhis second. Brighton SPT seems to be building nicely, with quite a bit of interest, certainly more than usual if I'm not mistaken.
Live Result from yesterday. Well played Michael @style2737

A HUGE congratulations to Michael Kane who has just won the UKPL Edinburgh Main Event.
He beat the 311 entry field to take home £25,208 after a three deal.
Thanks Alan.
£25,000, very nice.
Thanks,
I had a really bad run on Sky where I didn't win anything between August and January. Sine then have won three turbos, so things were looking up already.
I can't play much as was struggling with the balance between work and poker; and my eldest daughter is sporty so some weekends are difficult too. It is very rare I play Sundays now, so this was a bit of a one off (too old for 3am finishes and 7.30 alarms, and never catch up all week if the kids are doing stuff; this week is half term).
I had more or less resigned myself to not playing WSOP this year as PLO8 is usually last couple of weeks in June, and I can't go then this year. And blowing 90% of my dollars last year wasn't great . Tougher decision when you need to buy dollars as well as hotels and flights.
As it is I will likely miss the Derby and go out for the PLO8 and some smaller events elsewhere. I don't think the mixed O8 is feasible, as it is 2 weeks later (why do they do this?). Same with Big O. I am a rec, so can only do 1 week max. There is triple draw that week, which is a game I enjoy. I may need to win a major to justify that one.
Which week(s) are you aiming at?
