    @gogogadget

    I can't help but think that all the money goes in three way however you decide to play it.

    Just one of those hands.

    12 left, utg short stack raises, I’m next to act.
    I get the argument that you want to isolate but I’m 2nd or 3rd in chips and hoping to get another head involved, and there’s my question; should I just iso shove here? Feels like I’m losing value most of the time. Not sure if this guy folds 99 if I do shove though.

    No, if you get all your chips in 3 way with odds like this you can't possibly be making a mistake. ICM can only make a minor difference. The result isn't ever important when judging a mistake in play.

    Bayes world suggest this is more likely a bad beat post rather than a strategy post.

    Ok cool, appreciate the response. Obviously I know the result is not important here, more interested in whether I should be isolating rather than inviting others into the pot. Let’s say that I shove and the 9s fold, is this a mistake? Also, does this play differently if it’s higher stakes?

    Edit; by calling with the short stack’s head being available for Bounty, calling potentially means going 6 ways to the flop; looking back that can’t be great? Want to know what players better than I would be doing, if 3 betting what size?

    I don't think you should be worrying about inviting others into the pot.

    A short stack min raise looks very strong. What hands do you 3 bet less than a shove against what looks like very strong range? I do 3 bets strong hands with high frequency, but this looks a very good spot for flatting and 99 fell for it.

    I think your worry should be am I doing anything that makes 99 fold here. Some weird min 3 bet might be just that thing.

    Don't worry about it. Think Tikay is right, 99 is going to be tempted by that short stack bounty much of the time whatever you do.

    I think that if you win this hand you wouldn't be posting. I will say that if you get heads up and your oppo misses the flop completely, you might not get any more and miss out on the bounty. You've got the money AI multi way as a big favourite, you'd take those odds all day. Personally, I'm isolating and if 99 wants to come along, I'm happy too.
