When i first started playing live poker in casinos most of the tournaments were POT LIMIT.
I found it suited my game, as i could see a flop with low pocket pairs or two pictures etc.
NO LIMIT hold'em is more of a lottery and i can't control a pot and i stopped going to casinos a decade ago.
Old school sparring after the flop was a lot more enjoyable than calling 'all in' and hoping you win a shoot out.
Younger players will probably disagree with my comments, but i miss POT LIMIT.

The decline in popularity of PL Hold 'Em is the worst thing that has happened to mainstream poker in the last 25 years. (IMO). I pretty much stopped playing Hold Em when PL went out of fashion.
For balance, the younger players much prefer NLH, & so that's the way forward I suppose & I get that.
Strange to think that until, at a guess, 2005?, it was almost all PL.
And before that? Stud.
So maybe one day NLH will drop out of fashion.
