"@TOKEMON graced the Sky Pokier MTT tables last night for the first time in almost 3 months, and promptly won the Main. Single-tabled it too. can't find too much winning history other than a Mega & a MidEx, though did well in the Sky Poker Premiership last autumn. It's been a profitable but frustrating week for @PokaBayb9 who was runner-up, the same spot he occupied a few days earlier in the Sunday Major. Has some heavy wins on his CV, including two big UKOPS, a Major & a BWBH, despite which plays very low volume here, just 13 MTT's here this year, & a total of ~300 in 5 years. Has an ABI of over £60 & a ROI of 58%, so is super useful.
The Mini went to @Airball, (hopefully not Nik). Another low volume player, 300 MTT's in 8 years, & this was his biggest win by a long chalk. @mumsie is going along nicely, 3rd here after being 4th in Sunday's Mini Major & 6th in Mini Hitman two weeks ago.
7 @ 7 was won by @Ferret17. He's not made the thread for a while, though he collected £1,500 for being runner up in a Predator Main during the 2020 Lockdown Boomlet which had a prize pool in excess of £20,000. Nowadays it's hard to imagine the size of those prize pools during Lockdown. Whilst it'd be great to see numbers like that again, let's hope that dreadful COVID never makes a return. If that means we never see numbers like that again, that's just fine by me.
Playing here for the first time in a month & just 6th time this year, @ChipFlippa took Reload, which made £1,800+ last night after missing it's g'tee the previous night.
@ughx3000cx took MidEx. Had a decent month, won a Reload two weeks ago, & began March by running 2nd in the Mini Major. Very tidy player, has a 49% ROI over an 8,000 game sample size at an ABI of £5.50."
A fairly quiet night traffic-wise. A handful of events experienced overlay, but in every case it was vey minor & of no real significance. One oddity is that yesterday I mentioned how, despite a quiet evening the £5.50 PLO8 came in at near record levels, 69 entries & £345. Well it was in similar territory last night, £335 & 67 entries this time. PLO8 seems to live in it's own little world, God bless it.
Starting today with Summit, it was @loololollo who emerged top of the pile. Decent night for him, he also won the £1k BH, was 2nd in 9 @ 9, 7 won a seat to the Main in a satellite. He was the best performing player in the 2023 SPT Las Vegas, which is my cue to remind you that qualifying for SPT Las Vegas will be starting next week. I'll be very surprised & disappointed if @loololollo does not qualify again. Returning to last night's Summit, as expected, it was a tough old FT, with @PBKR@duonross@ra1d@Thoich& The Notorious @Gobbleoffrespectively following the winner home.
Turning now to last night's Main, if you played it, & these things matter to you - & I know it does to many of you - at time of writing, Sharky don't seem to have picked this one up, it is not showing. That aside, the winner was our man @GSmith13 who returned having been AWOL since last Friday. Just 3 featured MTT wins this month - last night's Main, MidEx & 7 @ 7 - but to be fair, he's been MIA most of the month & so has only played 50 or 60 MTT's. Runner-up was @DunkinFishwho also satted in to Summit, with Danny @Itsover4uin third.
A big turnout for the Mini, 342 entries, with @Gooner1961 grabbing 1st place. He had a decent evening, as he also ran 5th in a late afternoon £300 BH. 2nd was @dryden97 with @pokarito 3rd.
Was delighted to see an old friend of mine, @Mohican take the 9 @ 9. He does not play much or often these days, mainly 1-tabling bits & bobs but back in the day he had a cracking game & once picked up £40,000 for 5th place at a Sky UKPC at DTD. He used to have some really cool motorbikes - proper big sexy jobs - but he's too old for that sort of thing now & probably drives around in an Austin Allegro or Fiat 500 these days. @al393 won Sheriff a few nights ago, then followed up last night by taking down the toughest Quickdraw I can recall, with a FT that included @Jessieak@AlexaAJ@GSmith13@StayOrGo & @Steed432. Toughest FT of the night? Hard to say - Turbo was pretty formidable too, with @destinycod beating the likes of @scousescum@GSmith13@tonyp142@Natnug & @Thoich.
That new £500 BH at 19.35 went to @kettle9930 who many of you won't remember, but back in the day he played at much bigger stakes & did very well indeed, with eight or nine 4-figure cashes which included 1st place in a £10,000 BH, & 2nd in a Sunday Major.
That's it for today. Was hard work today, some days the words don't come easily.

Due to Poker not furnishing me with the required financial freedom I'd like, I just own the one 'proper sexy big job'. However I intend to do some serious satelliting in the near future and hopeful luckbox my way again to another big score and the inevitable visit to my local dealer.
