This day last year
"@mrtee won the Main, the 2nd time he's done so in 4 months, the previous occasion being a Sharpshooter. Not bad considering her only plays, on average, every other night, & seems only to play Main events. @chrisdonkb was 2nd, & @TheMadMonk 6th. @dameflop was chippie at one stage & I thought she was going to win, but she dropped to 5th in the end.
The Mini went to @KingPower - a Leicester City fan perhaps? - who is another who only plays every other night, & almost always the Mini. It was his 3rd win in the Mini, the previous two both being Sharpshooters.
Summit is usually reserved for the Big Boys, & so it proved again last night with @GFKIJKLL getting home ahead of @whitters95. @leez, who won Hitman last Thursday & Sheriff on Sunday, was 4th, @235467 5th & Mr Channing @NChanning in 6th.
On the very day they made their first ever Forum post (in the Daily Forum Comp) @claudel9 won the £1k BH, which as far as I can see, was their first ever headline win. There's a moral there somewhere, but I'm not sure what it is. Some - well one - might suggest that Sky Poker were using the "New Player Deck" last night instead of the Promo Deck, Weekend Deck or Bank Holiday Deck.
Rather oddly, the £1k Rebuy BH made exactly the same (£1,085) as the £1k BH, which only proves how sad I am to notice something so irrelevant. Anyway, @Actionman who has only been here 3 weeks booked the win, his first I believe.
@collin11 has a great late night record, with at least 6 MidEx wins, plus Turbo & Quickdraw, & last night he was in action early as he took 9 @ 9, which, most unusually, overlaid. He has a Main on his CV too.
3 more players qualified for Sunday's Vegas semi, including @leez & @pokarito, both of whom have won a Main in the last 4 or 5 days. The third qualifier was an interesting one, @guvshergil who has played less than a handful of MTT's since 2021.

Traffic was quite decent, with the Main making a healthy £5,610 although there were small misses in Mini & 9 @ 9, though not of any significance.
It was the very first 2024 Vegas satellite day yesterday, with a Quarter Final that guaranteed 3 seats into Sunday's Semi. In fact, it got an eye-opening 32 entries which meant SIX seats, plus a bit of cash for 7th.
Starting with that Vegas Quarter, @MISTY4ME @podraic & @ILIKE2FISH all won through, & those are players we are all familiar with. Not so much @blindpoet who had not played an MTT here since this time last year when they twice won seats into Vegas Finals. The other winner was @LN123 who was playing here last night for the first time since this time last year. Quite interesting to see that the Vegas Promo is attracting players who might not otherwise be on site. @MAXALLY seat bubbled but got £18.80 which is enough to fund a few more attempts hopefully. The Quarter runs every night so it will be interesting to see if the numbers hold up.
In the Main, it was that man @Natnug who took the win, & he had one of those nights where he could do little wrong. 1st in the Main, 1st in the £1k Rebuy BH, 3rd in Sheriff, 4rg in Quickdraw & 4th in the £1k BH. Blokes a machine. It's a little frustrating for me that he's absented himself from Sharky as it stops us from having a proper look at his numbers, but of course he has every right so to do. @thedazzman continues to impress, & made his 2nd Main FT of the month last night, 5th in last night's Marksman & 2nd in last Thursday's Hitman. Was 2nd in Marksman Mini last Monday too.
For the second time inside a week we saw a player win a Main one night & the Mini the next, thus missing out on £5,000 FTJ bonus. @FlynTimber was the culprit this time, he won Sunday's Major & last night's Mini.
@jeni82 started 2024 in great form, and by mid-January had already run 2nd in a Main (a PB) & 3rd in a Mini, but went a little quiet after that. Last night though they won 7 @ 7, the third time they've won it inside 12 months, so maybe the Gods of variance are about to smile on Jeni. Variance is such a fickle thing.
Team Heavy Hitter were represented as always, in addition to @Natnug who had two wins & 5 FT's, @destinycod won Mega, @Steed432 took the Sheriff & 9 @ 9 went the way of @bigfatfish
Finally, just a footnote about tonight. Two of the best ever Champions League ties both kick off at 8pm - Arsenal v Bayern, & Real Madrid v Man City, so we might see a bit of a hit to traffic. Seems a bit ridic to have two such great games on the same night at the same time. Such is the world of football.
