The firm of Solicitors doing this have made a mistake. Something we all do.
What is totally unacceptable is their attempt to blame the Court, or the system, for their mistake. It would be impossible for any Court to undo this without the agreement of the other party-which was not forthcoming.
Unless the Law has changed, a decree nisi means a "decree unless"-it can become a "decree absolute" after 6 weeks on the application of either side...
