This day last year
"We saw a stunning performance by @LittleGJ , who, 24 hours after winning the Mini, won the Main. Shame he never won them both on the same night. Won his seat from a Freeroll too, & that's two nights running he's won a freeroll seat, as he won a Sunday Major seat on Wednesday. It's not every day you see a Sharky graph with 52,000 games over 8 years suddenly lurch upwards, but that's exactly what has happened.
@64mph sped to victory in the Mini, consolation for running 6th in a Mini a fortnight ago. 3rd was @boggo who is an airline pilot on Cathay Pacific long-haul stuff, & who was great fun when he was with us in Vegas a few years ago. Outlasted all our other qualifiers too, only to fall shy just short of the cash in the WSOP Main.
A shoutout to @snoxx11 who took the Mega. Had a really solid April including wins in 9 @ 9 & MidEx, also 2nd in a Mini.
@barney_b83 won Sheriff. Does not play MTT's here often, but makes it count when he does. In the last 7 nights has played just 4 MTT's, and from those 4 managed 10th in Avenger Main, 6th in Predator Main & 1st in Sheriff. Solid.
@jinky77729 only seems to play one MTT per night, always a 9 @ 9 or Reload. Was 4th in Sunday's Reload, & won last night's 9 @ 9.
@igloomax ran 2nd in an early afternoon £300 BH, then logged off until mid-evening, when he played a £400 BH (bricked) & Turbo, which he took down.
P4, W2 is the April record for @TheDimMak1 who only joined us in October, since when has played just 17 MTT's. In his last three outings he's won MidEx twice, both times for around £300.
@MacStack enjoyed himself. Played 4 MTT's yesterday, & his haul included two wins & a second - 1st in a 2pm £300 BH, 2nd in 7 @ 7 & 1st in the Rebuy BH. Bet he can't do that again.

Very quiet indeed last night with overlay across the board up to mid-evening after which MTT traffic improved markedly. Some really good football last night, maybe that contributed. The Vegas Quarter was the lowest so far this year, just 12 entries.
Going to start with Reload today, as it went to @loololollo who therefore extended his winning streak. Here's his "Headline MTT" wins for the last 5 nights;
Saturday - 1st, Sheriff
Saturday - 1st, Rebuy BH
Sunday - 1st, Sunday Major
Monday - 1st, Sheriff
Tuesday - 1st, Mega
Wednesday - 1st Reload.
Plenty of FT's & smaller wins too, last night he won a £300 BH, 4th in a £400 BH, 4th in the Rebuy BH, 4th in Quickdraw, & won a satellite to the Main. He really is quite exceptional. He's now just $352 away from 1st place in the 2024 Sharky MTT Leaderboard. This time tomorrow, he'll probably be top.
In Predator Main, @daGrinda played every All-In sat available, lost the lot, so stumped up £33, won the Comp & went home with over £900. Has had quite a variety of wins, including a £6,000 BH last October, a Hitman Mini & a Reload. There was an interesting newcomer, playing their first ever MTT on Sky Poker (never played any cash or SNG's here either) who was Top 6 much of the way & eventually finished 11th. Alias was @pads1161 and as many of you will know, that's one of the aliases that Patrick Leonard used to use. Think we can say with some confidence that it was not The Great Man though.
@THETANK won the Mini. First played on Sky Poker when it was still in it's "BETA" stage in early February 2007. I well remember being the studio analyst on Sky Poker TV the night he won PRIMO, which at the time was the Sky Poker "flagship" MTT. Seems a good guy, judging by his table chat, always seems to be polite & is able to takes his beats like a grown-up.
Sheriff had the usual line up of big-hitters, but it was the modestly rated @Ellis0711, playing just their 6th MTT on Sky Poker in 2024 who emerged top of the heap. Been here 8 years but only played around 100 MTT's, though does play a bit of cash. This was, by a distance, their best ever result on Sky Poker. Following him home were @NChanning @MikeyW94 @jakescol @loololollo & @Steed432. Quite a win that by Ellis Bloke. Incidentally, talking of "Ellis" I'm sure @NChanning remembers Mike Ellis who used to do very well especially at The Vic. I had a look at his THM & he's not cashed in the UK for a while but cashed in the last few weeks at Venetian in Vegas. Was a very good player when I knew him, but that was a long time ago.
There was yet another win double by @AlexaAJ who took the Rebuy BH & Quickdraw. Bit of a shame (for me) that they are blocked on Sharky, they have quite a CV I imagine.
@MasonPAces took the £1k BH, this was just their 4th MTT since March 2021. Welcome back & all that. Weird - but rather lovely - that folks disappear for years & then suddenly return.
A few nights after running 6th in 9 @ 9, @bluethree won 7 @ 7. It's the second time he's won it, the first was in August '22.
The Vegas Quarter was very thin, just 12 entries, with Semi Final seats going to @HANSON @MARBLEFLAW & @madprof.
